I chuckled.

“Don’t laugh,” she ordered. “I’mallowed to find this funny.Youare not.”

“My apologies,” I retorted, unable to stop a grin.

“I don’t even remember why we were fighting.”

“Because you tried to make demands on Sundance,” I said.

“Oh, right,” she grumbled. “Why would he even tell you about that?”

“He didn’t.”

“What do you mean?” Sierra frowned. “If he didn’t bring it to you, then who did?”

“Not tellin’ you that. One of the guys overheard you rantin’.”

She rose to her feet. “Are you telling me that Sundance didn’t come to you directly and tell you to tell me that I was overstepping my bounds?”

I stood, knowing I’d just stepped back in it.

“Wrath?” she stressed.

“Well,” I hedged. “Technically, no.”

“Fight back on!” she growled and started back toward the cabin.

Sierra

I wanted to murder him. After I fucked him. Maybe I’d fuck him twice, then murder him. God, I wasdemented. I heard him start his bike behind me, then he pretty much paced me back to the cabin.

I did my best to ignore him, kicking my boots off before walking inside, then rushing up to my room. The problem was, I was freezing. This made my nipples freakishly hard, and that pulled on my new piercings, which in turn made me hornier.

It also made me want to soak in his tub.

In that moment, it wasn’t lost on me that he’d put the epic tub in his bathroom, not mine.

I let out a frustrated groan and pulled off my wet clothes, just as a knock came at my bedroom door. Wrath didn’t wait for me to answer, walking in like he owned the joint.

“What?” I snapped.

He smiled.

“No,” I growled. “I’m naked because I’m wet and cold. Not because you’re getting lucky.”

“How about I fill my tub, you can get warm, then I can get lucky?”

“No.” I shivered. “No lucky.”

“Are you forgetting that when I get lucky, you get lucky too?”

“Cool your jets, Pharrell, no one’s getting lucky tonight,” I retorted.

He waggled his eyebrows. “We’ll see.”

I rolled my eyes, dropping my dress in my hamper. When I turned around again, Wrath was close. He cupped my neck, tugging me forward. “I love you, you know that right?”
