“You guys are acting weird.”

Sienna cuts to the chase, a likeable quality, but I’m not sure I likeher. She makes the guys nervous, and anyone that can affect three grown men so negatively, automatically has my back up. Plus, I’m feeling a little protective of them, which I may regret in time, but they’ve been nothing but wickedly good to me so far.

I finish my mimosa, quietly moving around the room to top up the boys’ flutes. Maybe I should get something stronger, like whiskey.

“What’s going on?” Sienna demands slyly. “Have you fallen out again?”

“No,” Luca says, eyes drifting to me. “We just need to chat to Winter quickly. Could you give us a few minutes?”

Sienna turns her pretty, dark brown eyes on me. Suddenly, she’s looking at me differently, knowingly. Her eyes narrow before she’s swinging them in the direction of Luca, then Reuben, then Brecken. “No,” she seethes, not removing her furious gaze from herbro.

“Sienna,” he warns, some deeper, more formal tremor to his voice coming through. It’s the lawyer’s voice, the one that probably convinces juries of innocence or guilt depending on requirements.“Don’t.”

She sends him a look that smacks of hurt. Of betrayal. “You didn’t,” she hisses.

“That’s right, I didn’t,” he states clearly, his eyes lifting to his friends. “But I will.”

Appearing to swallow down whatever retort she had ready to spew, she casts a bitchy look at Luca before gifting it to me. “So, the help is fucking my brothers?”

Brothers. She saidbrothers. As inplural.

Well, fuck.

I wasn’t expecting that.

CHAPTERELEVEN

My eyes sweepacross their tense faces, witnessing the enormity of that revelation. At how badly it troubles them.

So, the help is fucking my brothers?

It’s a crude phrase, meant to wound on two levels. Firstly, I’m reduced tothe help, but importantly she’s also hurting her brothers by attempting to sabotage whatever’s happening between us. She wants to ruin this before it’s barely got going. And she’d worked out that theirweirdbehavior was because they’d left out a vital piece of information as they seduced me this week.

It was her ammunition.

Thinking fast, I replay Sienna’s lofty, imperious arrival. How she waltzed in as if she lived here too, knowing so much about the lives and business of these men. And it’s astoundingly apparent why she’s so deeply involved with them.

They’re siblings.

And although I’m relieved that it’s not due to a sexual relationship, the growing hostility is troubling. Just what is going on here?

Luca rakes a hand through his hair, those sapphire eyes more like the blue flame of a Bunsen burner. Brecken regards Sienna—his sister—as if he’s about to cuff her and take her to the police station for some violation of parole, a muscle in his jaw flexing. And Reuben’s amber eyes dance from brother to brother to sister to me.

God. I’ve been sleeping withbrothers.

Now, I’m not normally scandalized about people’s preferences. I’m pretty open about most things. My kinks and fantasies are broad, and I’ve been prepared to give them all, if not a go, then at least consideration. Fancy men twenty years older?Sure.Want a threesome with two guy friends?Done that.Toys and spanking while being fucked brainless?Yes, please.A son and father combo? That sounds interesting. But sleeping with three men who you thought were good friends, who pretended to be good friends and colleagues, but are three brothers….

Yeah, I’m still working on that one.

Although my cabin boys may not deserve my loyalty, Sienna sure as hell doesn’t. Her mouth curls slyly, enjoying the huge bomb she’s detonated. It makes me determined not to give her the satisfaction of winning, even though I don’t know what the game is, nor the prize. But anyone with the nickname poison pixie has some issues so I’m done playing nice.

“Well, are you?” Sienna pushes, her tone high-handed.

Taking my time, I walk to the couch and sit next to Reuben, opposite Brecken and the she-devil. “I am,” I tell her, finally answering her invasive question. “It’s been the hottest week of my life.”

Again, her eyes narrow, but not entirely in anger. I think she’s also, curiously, jealous.

Her attention flies to Luca who’s still standing by the wood burner. He looks less tense now, but I can tell he’s baffled by my response. Playing it cool, he looks at her with boredom. “What? Some women like getting dicked by brothers. What’s it to you anyway? Why are you so rude, Sienna?”
