“That was a birthday surprise I didn’t see coming,” Roo announces wryly. Like me, his attention’s beyond the window, watching the snow.

Luca scoffs, reaching out to toy with the sapphire ring on my finger. “You good?”

I nod, happy with my decision. Happy for what lies ahead. But it has knocked me, I’m not going to lie.

Brecken slots his large hand around mine, looking unconvinced. “You sure?” he asks, his beautiful eyes sweeping over my face. “I don’t have to lock you in that tower do I, making sure you don’t run away from us?”

A soft huff of laughter sounds as I eye Brecken to see if he’s serious or not. For a second, I’m a little unsure because he looks at me with suspicion. From under that sexy hair falling forward, I can see an arched, imperious eyebrow.

“You wouldn’t dare.”

Gleefully, Roo chuckles, his eyes glowing sun-bright. The sight of that mischievous look has my heart kicking out.

“Get your crown,” Luca instructs. “Get naked on the bed save for your queenly attire. We’re going to come bearing gifts.”

I smirk, still feeling prickly from the revelations. “Cum, sperm, and spunk? I think I got those this morning.”

“You got the nice version,” Roo remarks. “There’s a lot of rope up there, perfect to lace around your wrists and ankles. Your throat.”

My mouth waters, liking the sound of that far too much. I swallow hard as an indecent throb awakens deep inside.

With his shirt sleeves rolled up to his elbows, Brecken crosses his tattooed arms across his chest. Muscles bulge, tendons flex as he studies me. “We’ll free you from the tower when you’ve been thoroughly pleasured.”

“What?” I rasp, my heart beating furiously in my chest. My core hurts so badly I keep fidgeting, pressing my thighs together.

Noting my discomfort, Brecken runs a confident hand through his hair. “That’s right, babe. We’re going to take care of you.”

“I thought we were skiing,” I divert. Somehow, I’ve regressed to Past Winter, the one who didn’t want to be so easy. The woman who tried to prove—badly—at how professional she was. And while I realize this is an affirmation of our relationship, a kind of thank you for believing in them and trusting them, they can be awfully bossy.

Luca frowns. “We want to eat pussy, Winter. Why are we not already chasing you into the turret?”

I narrow my eyes at him, remaining silent as I debate my answer.

Impatient, Roo blows out a breath. “Would be a shame to accidentally release this morning’s video on the internet.”

I shake my head, furious that he would say that aloud. That he would voice such a terrifying thought, let alone threat. “Reuben,” I scold.

“Sounds like an easy decision,” he answers. “Consent to our demands and they’ll stay in the safe.”

I huff through my nose, Luca’s mouth hitching as he draws closer. He runs the tip of his nose down my cheek, my skin goose-bumping as his lips find the hyper-sensitive spot on my neck. Assured palms curve around my waist, spreading out across my stomach in a claiming action. But then I realize it’s to gather up my dress, Luca quickly pulling it up my body and over my head.

My bra gets discarded to the plush carpet. My panties get ripped at the seams and torn off my body. I don’t think I’ll get the chance to wear any of the lingerie Brecken referenced.

“We can do this the hard way,” Luca husks, knowing full well I am into this game. “Or, you can do what we want and those videos will never see the light of day.”

“It never occurred to me that you’d use those against me,” I say to Roo. “You seemed so principled in Vail.”

“That’s me. A moral compass,” he quips.

Luca’s hold on me tightens. “We fight dirty for things we want, remember? And those videos are collateral.”

“At least now I know who you inherited your skills from.”

“We’re worse,” he says proudly. “And we’d use everything in our arsenal to protect what’s ours too. All’s fair in love and war, Winter.”

Shock reverberates through me. I thought I knew these men, but I think they’re more inventive, morally gray, and coercive than I gave them credit for.

“I think she’s just worked out that she doesn’t know us all that well.”
