“You know me so well, Bear,” I commented as he handed me a mug full and kissed my cheek.

I jumped as lightning cracked through the air, seemingly right outside the window. “This weather is crazy. I’ve never seen rain like it. It’s mid-morning, and it looks like the dead of night out there.”

Taking my coffee from my hand and placing it on the counter, Matt pulled me into his arms, hugging me hard. “Luckily, we don’t have anywhere to go, so we can stay warm and watch the storm from inside. When are Addi, Emmy, and the boys planning on arriving?”

“They’re going to see when this weather passes and then decide, which means we have more time on our own,” I mumbled into his chest.

“Oh no. What can I do to my future wife to pass the time?” His hands moved to my ass, squeezing hard, before he lifted me from the floor, wrapping me around him.

“I can’t wait to be your wife, Bear.”

Sliding his hand under the waistband of my shorts, he groaned loudly as he found me commando and pushed two fingers inside me. “And I can’t wait to fuck my wife to be.”

Matt

Thethunderstormwasnothingshort of biblical. Rain hammered against the windows with such force they rattled, thunder vibrated through the walls, and the lights in the cabin flickered until all the power went off. My phone beeped with an alert informing me there was a nearby flood warning. Opening the app, I saw it was the river at the front of the property and showed it to Frankie.

“Are we safe?”

“As long as we stay inside, we’re fine. We have candles, food, we’re warm and we’re too high up for the river to reach us, here in the cabin. I promise we’ll be okay. I won’t let anything happen to you.”

“Still protecting me?”

“Always. It’s my job.”

She arched her eyebrow at me.

“As your husband to be,” I offered her with a wink as she nudged me with her hip.

“Let’s light some more candles before it’s too dark to see anything.”

Luckily, the place was set up for this kind of weather. I lit the fire as Frankie placed tea lights and pillar candles around the cabin.

I stood, watching as the flames took hold of the kindling and started to lick around the logs as I felt her arms wrap around my waist from behind. She lifted the hem of my top, slipping her hands onto my abs.

“You know, your body is something else. You’re like a real life superhero. Just being near you makes me feel safe. Sexy and safe.” Pulling my t-shirt up over my head, leaving me in just my black shorts, her fingers raked over my back. She followed the same path with her mouth, making my body tingle and my cock swell from the way her lips and her warm breath danced across my skin. “I’ve spent years fantasizing about you, wishing you wanted me, dreaming about you fucking me, kissing me, waking up next to me. And now you’re here with me. I sometimes wonder if this is too good to be true.”

“Rogue,” I moaned out as her hand found my waistband, teasing the head of my cock with her soft fingers. “Is it wrong that I want to stay here forever and never let you leave my side?”

“No, not wrong at all.”

“I wish we could just press pause on the world and spend a couple of years fucking each other senseless.”

“I love your dirty mouth, Rogue.”

“Trust me, not as much as I love yours. Now, tell me what you want to do to me while this storm rages outside.”

“I want to lay you out on the dining room table and eat you like my last meal. Then I want to fuck you until you squirt all over my cock again before I flip you over, dig my fingers into your hips and slam myself into you until you’re so spent I have to carry you to bed.”

“You want to fuck my ass?”

“What?” I turned and stared at her, confused.

“Sor-I thought that’s what you meant. I mean, I never have.” A blush spread across her face as she avoided looking at me.

Lifting her chin, I forced her to meet my eyes. “Did you want to? When you thought that’s what I meant, was that something you wanted to do?”

“Yes,” she panted out breathlessly. “I want you in every way I can get you, Bear.”
