“Can I tell you a secret?” she whispered as her hand moved under my t-shirt, skimming just above the waistband of joggers, making my cock spring to life. “I like this. Being here alone with you. Having you take care of me.” She looked up at me through her long dark lashes. “After all these years, I’ve never had you all to myself.”

“It does feel good, doesn’t it? No press, no stalkers, no bad stuff. Just us. But you’re here to heal, Rogue, so one more mouthful of this pasta and I want you to take a nap. Okay?”

“Okay... Matt?”

“Yes.”

“Thank you. For noticing I was falling apart. For bringing me here. That’s something else about you. You see me. You see what I need, even before I know it, and you make sure I have it. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is.”

“Loving you isn’t the problem, Rogue. It’s being able to love you as much as you deserve.”

She slept on the sofa for a couple of hours, so I used the time to make some soup and stew to eat later, along with some fresh bread. I woke her when the sun had gone down and the sky filled with a thousand stars. The enormous windows that ran along one side of the cabin gave the perfect view of the inky night. I handed her some painkillers and a large glass of water, before kissing her on the head.

“I’ll be right back.”

Heading upstairs to the master bath, I turned on the water and filled the tub, pouring a large serving of bubbles.Addi really had thought of everything.Once it was full, I walked back down and lifted Frankie from the sofa. She tried to tell me she was capable of walking but I refused to put her down until we got to the bathroom.

“Strip, Rogue.”

“Can you help me?”

I smiled, glad she was finally asking for help. Once she was out of her clothes, I lifted her into the bath.

She settled back into the water, her nipples visible through the bubbles.

“This view is stunning,” she gasped.

“You’re telling me, although I think we’re talking about different views.”

A blush spread across her face and my cock hardened.

“I’m going to leave you to relax. Shout me when you want to get out.”

She reached out, slipping her wet hand into mine. “Matt? Stay. Get in here with me.”

“I hate baths.”

“You’ve never had one with me. You might love them. Please. I don’t want to be on my own.”

“I might hurt you.”

“You won’t.”

Unable to refuse her anything, I pulled off my joggers and t-shirt, standing in front of her in just my boxers, my erection obvious.

“Take them off, Matt. Let me see you. I’ve missed looking at your body.”

“Fuck, Rogue. You don’t need my boner poking you in the back.”

“That’s exactly what I need. Take them off and get in.”

“Yes, boss.”

“Oh, I like the sound of that,” she giggled.

Easing her forward, I stepped in behind her. The bath was huge, so there was plenty of space for her to slide back between my thighs.

“Can I tie your hair up?” I asked, knowing how much lifting her arms up hurt. She handed me the hair tie she had on her wrist, and I attempted to pull her hair up into a messy bun, exposing her body.
