Page 12 of Feared By Monsters

I nodded fast, my face hot, my pussy throbbing as his fingers kept up their blurring pace. I wanted him to wrap his arm around me again, my body aching for touch, my heart straining in my chest.

I wanted to ask why he was doing this, why he'd evenwantto touch me, but all I could do was gasp and groan, the eye contact filling my stomach with even more butterflies as Sang worked me closer to my peak.

"So beautiful," he murmured, watching every play of emotion across my face. "I can feel you getting closer, sweet human. Your arousal is all over my hand, marking me with your scent."

"Is that—good?" I gasped out, muscles tightening, aching.

"Verygood," he confirmed with a deep purr. His eyes darkened when I writhed my hips into his hand, unable to help myself. "I want to wear your scent soeveryoneknows I'm yours."

That was so fucked up, but I was beyond caring. I shuddered, biting my bottom lip, and desperately rolled my hips to meet his fingers. My whole body burned, and for a second I forgot that I was chained in a basement, the captive of this monster. All that mattered was his touch and the orgasm barrelling down on me.

Sang laughed and kissed me, his lips soft over my own. For a frantic moment, I kissed him back, but then he ripped his fingers away from my swollen clit, slid them out of my trousers, and stepped back.

A scream of frustration built in my throat, my pussy aching so badly that it hurt. My orgasm wasso close. All it would take was a soft brush to my pussy and I'd shatter harder than ever before. But Sang stepped back with a shake of his head, his furry tail swishing with annoyance.

"No, sweet human. You can come when you've told me what I want to know."

I let the scream out, my hips bucking uselessly in the chains, needing to come so, so badly. "Please," I choked out.

"Think about it for a little while," he said gently, watching me with a mix of hunger and regret. "If you tell me where you got the necklace, I'll let my fingers carry you over the edge. Okay, sweet human? You want to come, don't you?"

"Yes!" I said emphatically, sweat beading on my upper lip and the painful ache in my pussy not even remotely fading. "Please, Sang."

He groaned, dragging a hand through his messy brown hair. "Don't say my name like that, I can't take it."

My heart skipped when he took another step away, his imposing frame hunched and the expression on his striped face pained as he denied me.

"Please," I said pitifully.

Sang shook his head, turning his back on me and heading for a door set in the wall across from me. "Not until you answer my question, Hala. I'll be back in a few hours."

"A fewhours?" I cried out, my breathing racing. "Sang, don't,please—"

Panic set in when he opened the door, casting a sad look back at me before leaving. I waited for him to return, tell me it was just another mind game, and touch me where I needed him, but long, long minutes passed.

"A few hours," I whispered in disbelief, tugging at the chains above me. My arms were numb; it would hurt like hell when they were released. If they everwerereleased. I pulled frantically, not sure if I was more desperate to escape or touch myself. I'd never been edged before, and I hated it. I needed to come or it felt like I'd die.

"I hate you," I hissed at the empty room, at the monster who'd left me unsatisfied.

With nothing else to do, I let my head slump against my shoulder and tried to ignore the deep, aching throbs in my pussy.

Idozed off after waiting for what felt like forever, but I was shaken awake when the door across the room opened with a creak. It took a few blinks until my eyes focused, my heart rate picking up at the thought of Sang coming back to give me the orgasm I'd been denied. Even if I couldn't answer his question, I could find a way to convince him to give me what I needed. He'd called himselfmine, after all.

But my eyes landed on a stranger, not the tall, cat-striped monster. Oh, god. He was one of the worst shadowkind, bigger than Sang and the blue, tentacled monster. This man had grey skin, severe features, and a lithely powerful body dressed in an immaculate suit that clashed strangely with his claws and sharp fangs.

"Please," I whispered, my desperate need replaced by icy fear as I started to shake in the chains.

The monster didn't grin or watch me obsessively like Sang; he assessed me coldly as he shut the door behind himself and then unbuttoned the cuffs of his white shirt. Rolling up the sleeves to his elbows, his black eyes swept over me, like he was calculating where to hurt me to make me scream the loudest.

"Pleas don't work on me," he replied after a stretch of silence, his voice raspy. "Save your energy."

I couldn't trap a whimper, couldn't help but tug against the chains, reaching for my magic but hampered by my terror.

"Sang won't be happy if you hurt me," I breathed, scrambling for anything to get me out of this.

"Sang answers to me," the huge, ash-skinned shadowkind said, approaching with clipped, controlled steps and noting my every movement as I flinched away. "His happiness doesn’t hinge on your survival."
