“Sorry, the queue was ridiculous.”
He grunts and continues watching the game, his arm about to go back over her shoulders when she shrugs him off.
He isn’t bothered though, as she wisely keeps her distance from him. If she wants him to remain alive, she won’t let him touch her ever again.
For the rest of the game, she barely looks in his direction.
I watch her with satisfaction, knowing that my cum is dripping out of her abused asshole while she sits next to him.
Rizzo doesn’t seem bothered, and to be honest, it’s clear he was never really interested in Camilla.
I sense he has a thing for Rosa, who is sitting with Aleks.
Archer is just as furious as I felt as he sits behind Adrianna with his fists clenched, watching her more than the game. “I’m going to kill that little rat,” he murmurs to me.
I arch a brow. “I’m not sure that will go down too well with Oak if you murder students.”
He grunts. “What the hell can Adrianna see in him?”
I shrug. “Maybe she did this to irritate you?”
His eyes narrow. “What do you mean?”
“Well, you only attended this shitty game because you overheard she was attending.” I pause, wondering if he’ll reach my meaning by himself. When he doesn’t, I add. “Perhaps she did that on purpose, knowing you’d attend so she could rub Nik in your face.”
“Motherfucker,” He mutters, glaring at the back of Adrianna’s head. “If she wants to play games, then I’ll play fucking games.” His fists clench and I know without a doubt I’ve never seen him so angry before.
I chuckle. “You have definitely met your match in Vasquez.” I clap him on the shoulder. “Perhaps it’s time to throw in the towel?”
“Never,” he growls, his eyes turning dark and defiant. I’ve never seen this side of Arch, as he’s normally so calm and a complete joker. It’s clear that Adrianna has got under his skin just as badly as Camilla is under mine.
The thing is Archer isn’t made the way I am. Darkness doesn’t rule him, so it’s strange to see it in his eyes. This game, as he calls it with Vasquez, has become something darker and more dangerous, I fear.
Every year he fucks a student, or two, but this is different. Instead of moving on from the fact Adrianna has no interest in him, he’s made it his mission to change her mind. He’s made it his mission to claim her, no matter the costs.
I know the feeling, but it’s like walking a tight-rope and one wrong move could lead to destruction.

Oak knockson my office door, which I left open, hoping I’d see Camilla walk past and give me an excuse to drag her in here. A habit which has become increasingly frequent over the past few weeks. Ever since I turned into a possessive beast at the hockey game, I could not stay away from Camilla. And likewise, she seems even more drawn to me, like a moth to a flame.
“What is it?” I ask.
He tilts his head. “Hello to you too.”
I run a hand across the back of my neck. “Sorry, hey Oak, what do you want?” I say sarcastically.
He rolls his eyes and releases an irritated sigh. “I wanted to let you know you definitely won’t be covering for math once the students are back from spring break.”
“I should hope not.” I set down my pen. “Who is taking over?”
“I’d rather not say until it’s set in stone, but whatever happens, I’ve definitely got someone, unless all three candidates drop out.” He grimaces at that. “Which is highly unlikely.”
I tilt my head. “How did you go from having no one to three candidates?”
“I took your advice and stopped looking for someone qualified.”
I arch a brow and wonder what exactly that means, but it’s clear he has no intention of telling me who he’s hired. “Fair enough. I just want to get back to normal.”
