“This isn’t the safest place,” she whispered.

Levi looked around, the dazzling lights flooding his face with relentlessly throbbing colors. He was grinning like a child, and it made Hannah’s heart ache to take that joy away from him.

“I don’t think they’d look for me here,” he quipped. “Eccentric billionaire hanging out at a place that reeks of pit stains? I don’t think so.”

Hannah giggled, then climbed out of the car, forcing a straight face. Levi stuck out his arm to her, and to her surprise, she took it. Her face was warm again with a bashfulness she hadn’t felt since she was a young girl with a crush.

The place was louder and more obnoxious inside than it was outside. They went to the dining area first and ordered wings and beer, a stunningly simple choice for someone who could probably buy the entire place. As their food and drinks came, Hannah found that she was ravenous.

She tried to eat as politely as she could while gazing around the area. Cobalt blue ambient lighting glowed around them. Levi was watching her while chowing down on his meal.

“You know,” he said, placing a wing down. “You don’t have to be on alert all the time. I can promise you that no one is going to know we’re here.”

Hannah looked up from her wings, holding still as a squirrel gnawing on a nut.

“That is my job, Levi,” she said directly. “I have to be on alert to make sure nothing happens to you.”

Levi began licking his fingers, which made Hannah’s nipples hard beneath her shirt. She couldn’t stop imagining him licking his fingers slowly before placing them down between her legs.

He leaned forward after wiping his mouth, holding a napkin in his hands. He seemed to move in slow motion as he reached for her face, then wiped at some BBQ from her cheek.

“You left a little bit there for later,” he said.

His eyes slid to hers and lingered for a long time. She placed the wings on the plate and peeled herself away from him. He was certainly a nerd but a handsome, funny, charming one. It had been so long that someone had kept her up all night for the sexiest reasons.

“Thank you,” she whispered, gazing downward.

“All right,” Levi said, slamming his hand down on the table.

Hannah stared at him with confusion as he rose from the table and paid their bill with cash.

“Let’s get playing, little lady,” he said with a wink.

Hannah quickly wiped her hands and her face with the napkin and then slowly stood from the booth. Levi took her by the wrist, jolting her upward and allowing her breasts to brush up against him.

“Ooh, Levi,” she said, grinning.

Hannah completely forgot where she was and what the hell she was supposed to be doing when he pulled her into him. She believed that he hadn’t intended to pull her so close, but his hands were going to her waist. He let them sit there for a moment like they were on their first date, touching and teasing in the dark of the strange adult arcade.

“Sorry,” he said, letting go of her hips.

Hannah bit her lip as he turned to walk away, her arousal clouding her judgment like an angry storm.

He led her to the area where games were being played by people of all ages. He challenged her to a game of air hockey, which was something she had never played before. She hit the puck softly, not wanting to blast it across the room, and hit a child in the eye.

“You’re not bad at this,” Levi joked.

She found herself having fun for the first time in what felt like ages. She realized that her jaw and muscles were sore after having tensed them for such a long time.

The game was mostly even because Hannah kept her strength hidden. Eventually, she managed to slip the puck past Levi’s quick wrist, making her the victor of their spontaneous night out.

She hollered with her hands in the air, letting out a satisfying laugh that trembled her to her core.

Levi shook his head dramatically, then hung in shame.

“Geez,” he said. “I guess I will have to practice my air hockey more often!”

They returned to a secluded booth in the dining area to drink another beer together, and Hannah was ecstatic. She certainly felt more like she was on a fun date than having to take care of a billionaire for work.
