Holden crosses his arms over his chest. “Do you want to go on this date, baby?”

“Of course I do! But I have to make sure everything’s done and that-”

“Anything that’s not done can wait,” Roman assures me. “everything but you.”

I shake my head at the guys and gasp when I see a limo. I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve this. I gape at them, but they get me inside before I can find the words. “What’s all this about?”

“We used to spoil you like this multiple times a week, sweetheart,” Nick says sipping champagne.

“And you don’t start with a high bar in a relationship and then sink to a lower one,” Holden agrees.

“So we have to step our game up so the best wife in the world doesn’t start thinking shedoesn’tdeserve this.” Gunner winks at me. “You’re getting pampered tonight, sweets.”

And I realize just how much they’re going to spoil me when I get out of the limo and find ayachtwaiting for us. I gape at it. There are Christmas lights all over it, but they’re all blue and magical and I feel my eyes water.

Once they escort me onto the boat, I see a whole bouquet of roses, one of orchids, one from each of the guys and I feel like I’m in the garden where they proposed. There’s one table just for us and classical music playing over the speakers.

Just when I think it can’t get better, we actually take off into the water. I look at my men, all dressed up, gorgeous, looking like the bachelors I fell in love with. I wipe my eyes.

“We let you take on too much.” Roman takes my hand. “So let us pamper you with the best dinner we could come up with together, some dancing, and a reminder that we love you.”

“As a mother,” Nick says. “and a woman.”

“The woman that puts all of my dream women to shame,” Gunner agrees.

“You deserve this every day of the week, Sophie,” Holden adds.

I wave at my face. They’re going to destroy the makeup I worked hard on. We get lobster and steak along with escargot, a delicious pasta so full of flavor exploding in my mouth. There isn’t one thing about the meal that’s not decadent. I actually moan and rub my big belly as I finish the fourth course.

Gunner points at it and nods.

“This is the most amazing meal,” Nick says.

Holden elbows him. “Second best, baby. Christmas last year – that ham.”

“I’m still convinced you put something illegal in it for it to be that good,” Gunner agrees.

I giggle and take Roman’s hand under the table. “The chef and I made that together.”

“Roman, you better get ready to teach,” Nick orders. “Because I’m determined to cook at least once a year and it won’t be ramen noodles.”

We laugh and tease each other. The guys crack jokes and tell me about what’s been going on at the office. The panic of some of the employees, the way they eye things they want, including the guys.

“I’m glad I’m done with it.” Roman snorts.

“Your office still needs to be cleaned out.” Gunner reminds. “You can’t keep putting it off.”

I narrow my eyes at Roman. He huffs. “There are enough people there, someone can do it.”

“You didn’t tell me that you were expected to.”

“Because I’m making someone else do it. I retired how long ago?” He argues.

I drop my fork loudly and cross my arms over my chest. All my men go quiet, all eyes on me. I choose my words carefully. “Remember that important conversation we had about me being included in information, decisions, all of that?”

“Yes, sweets. No one is ignoring you,” Gunner assures me.

“I didn’t know you were leaving the office until I called my father. I thought there was some floozy you all were staring at. Now I find out Roman needs to go back to the office. What else don’t I know.”
