Everyone rolled their eyes. He didn’t have shit with Lindy. Lindy had that motherfucker by the balls. He was simping hard core and needed a good ol’ fashioned reality check.
“You gotta agree, man. Otherwise, this shit won’t work. Warrant, Skid, Wasp, and even you, Priest. I know you all want her. We’ve all eye fucked her enough to get her pregnant twenty times over,” I said with a smile.
Everyone snickered.
“Fine, I’ll agree, but it’s not like it’s ever going to happen,” Sandman reluctantly relented.
“Right. Shasta has her nose shoved so far up his ass I’m surprised it’s not an anal bead,” I joked, even though this conversation was the most serious one I’d ever had. “Okay, on the offhand chance that Shasta loses her goddamn mind and decides to skate around on Sabbath, we’re all in agreement that we can cash in our Hall Pass with no questions asked and no consequences from anyone in this room?”
“Agreed,” they all said, one at a time.
“And Sabbath is to never know,” Wasp quickly added, looking around the room deviously.
“Agreed,” we all said in unison.
“So, we’re really doing this? Are we really going to go behind the Prez’s back and fuck his girl if she lets us?” Ranger questioned.
“If she lets us, why the hell not? It’s obvious Sabbath doesn’t take his claim on her too seriously,” I replied, obviously the voice of reason.
But it was Snyder who came up with the motto that worked for us all.
“If she belongs to him, then she belongs to us all.”
“If she belongs to him, then she belongs to us all,” Snyder reiterated, remembering the conversation very vividly.
“So, that means you can’t get all possessive and growly just because I slid in and stole your thunder.”
“She means more to me than a quick fuck, Clash. She’s special.”
“Yeah, she is, but you can’t be getting attached, Snyder. It’s a stupid thing to do.”
“Why?”
“Because as much as it pains me to admit it, that woman is deeply in love with Sabbath. No amount of fucking and being all sweet to her is going to change that. Something happened between the two of them, something neither can forget, and it’s bonded them in a way none of us will ever be able to touch.”
“He doesn’t deserve her love,” Snyder grumbled.
“And you do?”
His head shot up, eyes narrowing in anger.
“Yeah, maybe I do.”
I moved across the room and pressed my back to the wall, smiling evilly. “Then why did you wait to take advantage of her when she was in her most vulnerable state?”
He opened his mouth to answer me, but the words stuck to his tongue like glue.
“That’s right, asshole. You’re just as guilty as me in this one. We both are preying on her vulnerability, whether you’d like to admit it or not.”
“Damn it, you’re right.”
“I’m always right. It’s a gift.” I grinned when he flashed me the middle finger.
“Sit and spin, asshole.”
Shasta picked that moment to walk out of the room, gasping when she saw my already bruising eye.
“Oh gosh, what happened?” she asked, fingering the bruise.
