He nodded. “Sure, Prez.”

Sliding in my seat, I rested my head back and sighed. “He wasn’t lying. But you’re right, she ain’t stupid. She knew I’d get to that fucker, and he’d tell me what she wanted me to know. A decoy so I’d be sidetracked while she found her way out.”

“You think she’ll hide at another chapter or she’ll leave the country?” Owl asked.

“She hasn’t left the country yet, that I know. Airports are a no go unless she wants the pigs after her, and I set men on the lookout on every border,” Big Gun said. The man didn’t speak much, but when he did, he knew his shit.

I rubbed my exhausted eyes and shifted my body upwards. “The only lead we have now is that ride. Gotta find out where she was actually dropped off and where she headed after.”

Skid slammed his hands together in a loud clap. “Let’s hit the road.”

“Go with him, Big. Won’t hurt to send some prospects to sniff around Detroit, too.”

“Done.” Big Gun left his seat, and Skid followed. The two men, almost the same height, blocked the light as they stood. Except for the patches and the hair, as they walked to the door with their full sleeves and cuts, they looked like twins.

I hit the gavel announcing the end of Church. “And brothers…”

They both turned to me.

“I need her alive when you find her.”

“Sure thing, Prez,” Skid said while Big Gun nodded.

Taking a deep breath, imagining the horrors I’d do to that bitch when they brought her to me, I wiped my face with my hands as they closed the door behind them.

“You seriously need a rest.” Owl fished a joint out of his pocket and handed it to me. “You haven’t slept in three days.”

I lit the joint and rose to my feet. “I’ll rest when I’m dead.”

He made a sound in the back of his throat that was supposed to be a laugh. “There’s no rest for us then, son.”

He had a point.

Still, I couldn’t rest even if I wanted to. Not with Cammie like this. I drew a long breath of weed smoke and handed the joint back to him. “I’ll go check on my ol’lady.”

A smile showed the two wrinkles around the corners of his mouth. “Keep it. I’ll light my own.” His hand went through his pocket again as he stood. “Holler if you need anything.”

CHAPTER 16

Dusty

Metal music loud enough to wake the dead but not my Cammie poured from two large speakers in the front yard. Watching the men climb onto their bikes and roar off in single file, I sat on the porch to finish the joint before I went to my room. I couldn’t risk this shit reaching Cammie’s brain in that state.

Eight prospects and three Rottweilers guarded the gates as they closed. A few brothers sat around the fire with beers and whiskey by the dry pool. They were helping themselves to a couple of Beth’s bitches, Serena and Candy, and a young hangaround. One of the brothers, Chain, nearly tripped over his feet as he signaled for me to join them.

I shook my head and dragged another breath from the joint.

“Why the fuck not? You’ve been dry for weeks.” He laughed.

Since Halloween to be exact. But the only lips and pussy I was desperate to have around my cock had been bruised and aching, and their owner, myowner, was in a coma in my bed, not knowing I was even there.

The hangaround, couldn’t be over seventeen, jumped to her feet and strutted my way, her big tits—too big for her age to be real—bouncing in her tank top. Her shorts were too short and so tight I could see the outline of her pussy from here.

“No, Zoey. Prez is off-limits!” someone yelled.

She ignored them, and with a grin, she tried to settle into my lap.

I pushed her aside. “You should’ve listened. There’s plenty of dick around to give you what you came here for.”
