“Always ready for me, such a good girl.” I arch my back when he shoves two more fingers in.
“Oh, Ki,” I gasp and he laughs. He rolls off me and grabs my hips, pulling me on top of him. I love this position, and Ki doesn’t give up control very often. I straddle him and grab his dick, lining him up with my needy slit. He whimpers as I slowly lower myself down. I moan as I take him to the hilt. He’s so big.
“That’s it, baby. Such a naughty girl, taking me so well.” My pussy clenches as he keeps talking to me like that. I reach over his head to the straps I have on my bed and wrap one loop over his left wrist as I softly grind on him. He gives me a smirk as I do the same to his right wrist. I sit up and arch my back, using his legs for balance as I roll my hips. I let one of his thighs go, and run my hand down my throat to my stomach, then dig my nails into his abs.
He groans and bends his knees as he fucks up into me. “Fuck, Pay, you’re so perfect, baby,” he growls, as I lean down and take his mouth with mine once more. Tingles run down my spine and I have a feeling I’m being watched. I don’t turn around, but I keep putting on a show for both the man I love under me and the one peeping.
A few more rolls of my hips, and Ki is getting restless. I release his wrists and let him roll us over. I’m expecting him to go hard and fast, but he stares into my eyes and goes slow and deep. He’s making love to me, but why does it feel like he’s saying goodbye? He can’t really think that I would ever kick him out of my life. Ki is mine. He is the one who saved me. When I was at the lowest point of my life, he brought me back.
I wrap my legs tight around him, and grip his shoulders, digging my nails in, holding him closer to me. He shivers and rolls his hips, grinding harder against my clit.
“Baby, ah, I’m so close,” I moan and he picks up his pace, hitting that spot with every hip thrust. Tingles run down my spine, and when he latches onto my neck and bites, I shatter into a thousand pieces. He follows me over the edge and holds me until I come down from that insane orgasm. Tears fill my eyes, and I blink to stop them from falling.
He tries to roll over but I cling to him tighter. He trembles as he kisses my neck and collarbone over and over, whispering sweet things to me.
“Shower time,” he mumbles and I nod, finally releasing him. He climbs from the bed, and I let him go start the water alone. I need a minute. I have always had a connection to Ki, but that was indescribable. The way he clung to me, kissed me. It was new, and I worry it won’t happen again.
I sit up and wrap the sheet around me as the tears fall. A light flicks on next door and Nate moves to the window, resting his palm against the glass. He looks worried, and I know he’s witnessing this moment of weakness. I climb from the bed and move over to my window, pressing my hand onto the glass, too. He gives me a smile and I return it, though mine is a little shaky.
Ki comes back, and I watch his reflection in the window as he raises his brow, catching us. He crosses his arms and leans against the wall. I take a deep breath and turn to face him. We need to talk. I had planned to bring Nate up at dinner, but it never came up.
“I love you, Kian,” I start, and he moves over to the bed, taking a seat. His hair is damp and he has a towel wrapped around his waist. “I know you have never had a problem with my boy toys because they would never be anything but a fun time for me. Nate isn’t like that, and I want to be completely honest with you. I’d like to date him. For you both to share me. He can take me out in public; hold my hand, kiss me…” I trail off as I watch his face go from confused, to upset, to mad.
“You want to date Nate Reynolds? A boy whose father has banned him from seeing you. This isn’tRomeo and Juliet, Patience. I wish I could date you. If I thought we would get away with it, I would pack a bag and run away with you today, but we can’t. Our parents fucked us over when they decided to get married.” He takes a breath and runs his fingers through his dark hair, sighs, then stands up and gets dressed.
“I need to go home and check on Mouse. I love you, but this is all I can offer you. I’m open to sharing you. I get that you want to date, but pick anyone else rather than Nate. It will only lead to trouble and misery.” He doesn’t kiss me goodbye and walks out the door. I listen as he leaves the house and his car starts.
My heart begins to race and my hands shake. I knew I was stupid to think Ki would consider sharing me with Nate, but I had been starting to think maybe it was a possibility. My phone buzzes and I pick it up. It’s Nate asking me if I’m okay. I turn and he’s still there at the window, watching me. I give him a fake smile and wave, then walk to my bathroom. I need a moment alone to cry.
When I leave the shower, Nate is sitting there on my bed. His shoes are off and he has made himself comfortable against my mountain of pillows. One of my favorite movies is cued on the TV, and he made a bowl of popcorn.
“Hi,” I mutter, shocked, and he gives me a smile.
“I know you’re not okay, rabbit. You forget I know you better than most. I know when your smile is real, and when you are hiding your pain beneath a mask.” I sigh and grab a robe from the hook on the wall, put it on then walk over to the bed. He opens his arms for a hug and I melt into his strong embrace.
I didn’t picture my night ending like this. I thought I’d be alone with a tub of ice cream, but this is so much better.

A noisein the kitchen pulls me from a deep sleep. Nate stayed the night and held me the whole time. It felt like this is how it was always meant to be. I know there is still a lot we need to discuss, so I climb from the blankets and get dressed.
When I reach the kitchen I’m expecting it to be Nate or maybe Kian, not my mom and Tae, Kian’s dad.
“Well it’s about time,” my mother scolds, giving my outfit a look of disapproval. I tug my shorts down and give her a fake ass smile.
“You’re back,” I say and she waves her hand, then looks at Tae.
“Honey, there is nothing in this house. Let’s go get some lunch.” He agrees and before I can even ask how Rome was, they are walking out the door. I sigh and open the fridge, pulling out the leftover pasta. I stick it in the microwave and glance around at the silent house.
Even when my mom is back, she’s never here for long. I grab my food then return to my room. It’s just another day, alone in this big house, haunted with memories of the old days, the good days.
Nate
I leave my rabbit asleep and sneak home. I think I’m in the clear until Cal pops out from the pantry. He has a Pop-Tart in his mouth and a bag of chips. He drops them on the counter and gives me a once-over, then smiles.
“Well, well… look what the cat dragged in,” he teases and I roll my eyes.
“We don’t have a cat, bro,” I tell him, and try to fix my hair a little. Last night was amazing. Getting to hold Patience, and kiss her when I wanted. It felt right. I didn’t realize something was missing until she fell asleep in my arms.
