“Those fucking lips … I’m totally coming in your mouth next time.”

She grins and, leaning closer, whispers, “I would have done it this time.”

I wrap her hair around my hand using it to guide her mouth to mine. “You’re delicious, you know that?” My tongue sweeps inside, and I can taste myself on her. I’m so fucking hard all over again I’d kill to be balls deep in her pussy right fucking now.

The sound of a car engine pulling up in the driveway has that thought flying from my head and both of us freezing in place.

We stare at each other, unmoving for a count of three.

“Oh my God. What time is it?” Daphne gasps as she looks down at her chest, which is still painted with my cum. She scrambles off of my lap and crosses the room to snag a few tissues from a box on the end table.

“It’s almost nine.” I stand up, taking a second to readjust myself before securing my jeans.

Car doors slam and the faint sound of a conversation reaches us.

“Shit! That’s my mom and dad.” She frantically wipes herself off as best she can. “Shit!” Still topless, she whirls around, her gaze darting around the room.

I spot her T-shirt on the far side of the couch, grab it, and hand it to her.

“Where’s my bra?” she whispers desperately.

I look around, shaking my head. “Nowhere in sight.”

“Shit!”

Closing the distance between us, I yank her to me, hoping to calm her. “Daph. You’re fine.” I give a little shrug that I know she can feel. “Besides I love it when your tits are free.”

She slaps at me a little before pushing away and pulling her T-shirt over her head. She hisses, “You’re such a guy.”

“Guilty as fucking charged, baby.” I gesture down at her jeans. “The Millennium Falcon is still peeking out. Might want to fix that.”

Her parents are right outside the door when she grabs my hand and pulls me back into the kitchen.

Our butts hit the seats as her mom opens the door, walking backward, still deep in conversation with her dad.

I seriously hope it’s not a big deal that I’m here. Glancing at Daphne, who is fidgeting with her pencil and staring down at her physics book, I’m guessing she’s a little worried. Whether it’s because I’m a guy and we’re here alone or that they are aware we had a problem over the weekend and will be pissed that I’m here, I have no idea.

Judging by the unamused and wary expressions on their faces when they see me, it could be both.

Daphne gives them a wave and a smile. “Hey. How were things at the store today?”

Her dad frowns. “Fine. Not a ton of traffic since it’s a Monday. Um—” His gaze slides from his daughter over to me. “I thought tutoring was on Tuesdays.” He’s staring at my banged-up face, probably wondering what kind of punk his daughter is mixed up with.

Daphne rakes her teeth over her lip. She has a decidedly guilty look on her face. Obviously, Daphne is not well-versed in the art of deceiving her parents.

Clearing my throat, I say, “I have a test tomorrow. Daph was kind enough to help me out with a couple of things I was stuck on.”

“Well, that’s awfully nice of her, considering …” Her mom stops and sends her a confused look.

There’s my answer. They’re definitely aware I broke their daughter’s heart at the homecoming dance, though whether they have the full details, I’ll probably never know. I’m pissed that it ever happened. Fucking Alora.

Daphne takes a deep breath. “We’re fine. He needed some help, and I was willing. Everything is fine. Promise.”

Her mom nods, pinning her eyes on me. “It’s getting late, Micah. You should probably head home.”

I slap my hands to my thighs and rise from the chair. “Yep. Gotta get a good night’s sleep before the test anyway. Thanks, Daph. And thanks for the bag of peas.”

“You’re welcome.” She gives only the hint of a smile.
