“We’ll help,” some of the brothers said in agreement.

Grabbing my coffee, I had just walked out the door when I heard a loud scuffle from the kitchen. I could hear chairs scraping against the floor, glass breaking and loud moans. I could only assume that Savage was having his ass handed to him.

For some reason that put a smile on my face.

Ignoring the ruckus, I took my coffee and headed downstairs. I knew not to get in between club brothers and their fun. Whatever was going on wasn’t too bad. I didn’t hear any threats of dismemberment.

It had been a little over a week since I last saw my patients and I was eager to see how Remi and Ink were doing. With all the crap that went down in Florida, I was really looking forward to getting back to the basics. The simple mundane things that filled my day and gave me purpose. I lived a simple life most days. I did my job taking care of patients, afterwards I would either stay home and do nothing or if I was still energetic, I would have dinner with some of the other nurses. Now, everything was upside down. I worked where I lived. Not that I minded. It made things easier if there was an emergency and let’s face it. When it came to the Golden Skulls, there was always an emergency. On the upside, I was having amazing sex. That is if Savage would ever filter his thoughts.

The man seriously had a one-track mind when it came to sex.

Ass. All the time.

Chuckling, I shook my head as I walked down the stairs knowing damn well, he would be Healer’s next patient if he ever tried that shit with me. I could see it clearly too.

Savage screaming bloody murder on his stomach as Healer asked, “Just how in the hell did you get Jessica’s size seven shoe up your ass?”

That made me giggle.

“You’re in a good mood,” Healer grumbled, as I walked over to his desk. Placing my coffee cup down, I nodded, “Just letting my imagination get the best of me. How are our patients?”

“Remi is up walking and threatening death if Reaper doesn’t bring her son home. Ink is bitching because he doesn’t have anyone pretty to look at. They are driving me nuts.”

Slapping Healer on his shoulder, I grabbed my coffee and headed off to relieve the grumpy doctor of his aggravations. Stopping at the first door, I reached for the chart and entered, “Good morning, Ink.”

“Oh, thank fuck!” the man smiled. “My pretty nurse is back. Please don’t leave me alone with him again. He’s mean, Jessie. Like really mean. Healer doesn’t have a good side. He’s grouchy all the time. And his hands are rough. I have sensitive skin. I need a gentle touch.”

Shaking my head, I quickly looked over his chart before placing it at the end of his bed. Reaching for my stethoscope, I helped him to lean forward so I could listen to his lungs. I then proceeded to check his blood pressure, then his incision site. “How’s the pain?”

“Gone. Can I leave now?”

Chuckling, I lightly pressed around the redness and watched him lightly wince. “No pain, huh?”

“That was mean woman,” Ink grumbled.

“A couple more days Ink. Then I think Healer will discharge you. Don’t forget you had two major surgeries. The last one almost killed you. Just rest up and heel. You are finally on the mend. Before you know it, you will be riding with your brothers again.”

“I will cut your balls off!” someone shouted loudly, which had me turning towards the door.

Ink sighed. “That’s Remi. She’s yelling at Reaper again.”

“Okay,” I said, grabbing the chart. “Rest up for a bit and I will come back later and we can try getting you on your feet.”

“Sweet!” Ink grinned.

Leaving Ink, I quickly headed over to Remi’s room and walked in to find Reaper standing in the corner with his hands up as Remi stood before him berating him. “Read my lips asshole. I. Want. My. Son! My boobs hurt. He needs me! ME! Not some other bitch. You bring my son home, or I will go get him myself!”

“Baby,” Reaper tried to reply but was cut off when Remi hauled off and punched him in the nuts. “My. Son. NOW!”

“FUCK!” Reaper said, grabbing his crotch as he fell to the floor.

Sticking my head out of the door, I yelled for Healer, “You might want to get in here Doc!”

Healer grumbled. “I knew she was going to kill him.”

“He’s not dead yet. Probably wants to be but he’s still breathing.” I said, as Healer rushed past me and surveyed the room. “I fucking told you this was going to happen. Remi, get your ass back in bed before I sedate you.”

“Hey!” Reaper coughed. “Don’t talk to her that way.”
