Really. If anyone deserved to see boobs, it was the cyborgs.

Every model except for the Service Models hadn’t been allowed to form any type of attachments, especially with the opposite sex. They might have seen female MechTechs, but they had never been allowed to interact with them. The least I could do was give the Tank Class the pleasure of seeing real breasts for a brief moment of time. I highly doubted he had ever seen breasts in person before.

My eyes roamed over the Tank Classes’ massive frame. And I doubt he will ever see them in person again. Who would want to take that on?Next to him I became a very breakable doll and I wasn’t sure he could find a female willing to take a chance on him. Breaking a girl wasn’t sexy, at least not in the literal sense.

I shifted my gaze off the Tank Class, concentrating all my energy on the pissed off Science Model who appeared ready to snap.

“He’s not pissed, he’s ready to go postal,” I hissed at the Tank Class, placing my hand on Dax’s arm. “Dax, relax. He only got a glimpse, I promise.”

His features softened as he turned his attention on me. “He shouldn’t have even got a glimpse! I told him to wait.” He directed a growl at the Tank Class.

I gave his arm a gentle squeeze. “You’reright.Heshouldhave waited.” I shot the Tank Class an icy glare.

A flush crept across his cheeks as he rubbed the back of his neck with a large palm.Good. Maybe next time he wouldn’t go barging into a girl’s room without permission.

“But it’s over now. I don’t think he meant to catch me with my top around my ears.” My gaze softened. “Next time big guy, knock, okay?”

He nodded slowly. “Sorry.” His giant shoulders shrugged. “I was just so excited to meet you. The others are talking about how you snuck onto headquarters property and stole the Science Model. I wanted to meet the female who grabbed Dax and ran.”

The tension in Dax’s frame started to relax, his hands uncurling. I breathed a sigh of relief.Thank god. I didn’t think I could have stopped him if he had charged the Tank Class.I slipped my hand down entwining my fingers with his. “Sorry to disappoint you but it’s the other way around there big guy. Dax was the one who grabbed me, tossed me over one shoulder and took off at cyborg speed. All I could do was hold on and try not to throw up.” I stared up at Dax. “Do you guys even know fast you run? Us mere mortals are not prepared, that’s for sure.”

“Some of us have bee-”

“Don’t finish that. I really don’t want to know. Pretty sure my body wasn’t designed to go that fast.” I nudged him playfully with my hip causing his mouth to tip up into a smile. The mood in the room become lighter as Dax’s anger faded completely.

“Since world war three is no longer about to break out, how about the two of you head back into the living room so I can finish getting changed?” I tugged Dax with me to the door. “Then I can be introduced to our friend here, the correct way?”

“Fine,” Dax sighed. “But hurry. My circuits are feeling rather possessive at the moment and you seem to be the thing that keeps them from starting fights with much larger cyborgs.”

I kissed his cheek. “Lightning speed. Got it.”

Dax narrowed his eyes on the Tank Class. “After you.” Dax stepped aside, making room for the Tank Class to get by.

The Tank Class made his way to the door and into the hallway with more grace than I thought possible considering his giant frame.

Dax strode out into the hallway, taking one long last glance over his shoulder at me. I have him the shooing motion and he let out a sigh before vanishing down the hallway.

I yanked the clothes from my body faster than you can blink, putting on a new pair of panties and bra at breakneck speed. Next, I tossed the dress over my head and dashed to the bathroom, brushing my teeth and wrangling my wayward locks into a ponytail. A final glance in the mirror revealed that I was halfway presentable.Good enough.

I made my way out to the living room to find two cyborgs staring at each other from different sides of the room. Dax had his arms crossed over his chest as he glared the Tank Class. If looks could kill, the Tank Class would be a goner. The Tank Class didn’t seem to be bothered by it, his frame relaxed, a huge smile plastered across his face.

They both noticed me when I walked in and Dax wasted no time. His green form a blur, racing to wrap a possessive arm around my waist.

The smile on the Tank Class’s face got bigger. With a swagger in his step he strode over to us sticking out his hand. “You may call me Brone.”

I reached out my hand, allowing him to swallow my tiny hand up with his massive gray one. He shook my hand gently, mindful of his strength and I was amazed by his gentleness.

With Tank Classes, you expected a bull inside a china shop, but what I got was a gentle giant. I had no doubt that he could be deadly if he had to be, but I wondered how many people had only seen his size and thought monster without seeing the soul underneath?

“It’s nice to meet you Brone, I’m Poe.”

“Poe.” His free hand stroked his chin. “Unusual,” he murmured, and I could practically see his circuits spinning.Total cyborg mode.I grinned.

He let go of my hand and his bright blue eyes peered down on me. “You would think I would be accustomed to female human names by now, but then again I have only met four other human females so my data is rather limited.”

He had so went total cyborg. My grin got wider. Total cyborg mode from the Tank Class didn’t get me tingly the way Dax going full cyborg did, but I loved seeing it.

Cyborgs had been too human to be considered machines, and too machine to be considered human. Instead of celebrating both parts that existed within them, they were vilified for being both.No more. They are making a home here. A place where they can be themselves.Suddenly, I couldn’t be happier to be part of the cyborg rebellion. I had the urge to run through the halls and meet every cyborg I could find. So what if they responded like Aria and Theo at first. I could prove myself to them in time. Prove to them that I belonged here.
