“What makes you think that?” I ask as I lean against the main door to the workshop.

“Evidence,” Agent Trask says, “I didn’t catch your name?” she says.

“That’s because I didn’t give it to you,” I state with a raised brow.

“We are busy here, if you have any proof of anything then arrest us, otherwise fuck off.” Skull says in a grunt as he turns his back to the cops and Agents making his way to his bike.

“This is a friendly visit; we don’t want to start hauling people unnecessarily down to the station,” Agent Keller says as he looks after Skull.

“That’s because you need fucking proof, and I don’t think you have that. Now you are grasping at straws, trying to lay blame wherever you can,” Jericho says from where he’s sitting on his bike.

“I’m sure all you men would like this killer caught; we are just trying to find out if any of you know anything? Sometimes it might be the smallest thing that means nothing to you, but if we add your little piece of information and someone else’s piece of information, a puzzle starts to grow and make sense.” Agent Keller says.

“We don’t know anything. If we did, he wouldn’t be killing any longer,” King states which has the Agents looking at each other.

“Well can we just ask all of you, if you do know anything no matter how small, please feel free to give me or Agent Trask a call at the station.” There are a couple of grunts before Skull leans forward and starts his bike.

“King,” he says with a nod before he is riding away, his men following him. King now turns to the agents and crosses his arms as he looks at them.

“Was there anything else?” King asks with a raised brow.

“Yes, we would like to ask to look around,” Agent Keller says.

“No,” King states.

“You know we can get a warrant and be back here to look around, which is unnecessary time,” the cocky asshole of a cop states.

“Well then get your warrant, we have all the time in the world,” King says.

“I believe that you and your men have been quite invested in this investigation, why not help us now?” Agent Keller asks.

“Maybe because you are suspecting us, as you said, we have helped you with all the information we had. Therefore, if you do want to go snooping around our property, you will have to get that warrant that you spoke about.” With those words he turns making his way towards the workshop, I see the agents looking at each other and then around as if they can see anything out of place before they turn and head back to the car.

“I told you they wouldn’t let you look around, they might have given us that information before, but if you ask me, that was just a ruse to get us off their tracks,” I hear the asshole cop say as they get into the car.

“We shall see . . .” and with those words they drive off.

“Fuck, I need a drink,” King mutters as he walks into the bar, Hunter and the women are already sitting there.

“Where’s Hawk?” Onix asks when the others walk in, except for him.

“He went to get Sam and whoever her friend is.” I see the women frown but they don’t ask, which is a good thing as we also don’t know except for the different scent of a human that wafted to us.

“What did that fucker want?” Hunter asks as he pulls Dakota down onto his lap. I approach Alaska that is sitting on one of the chairs, her eyes are on me as I approach and I would like nothing more than to take her upstairs and divest her of the clothes she is wearing and then kiss every inch of her perfect body before I have my way with her. Holding out my hand she frowns as she takes it, pulling her out of her chair I sit and then pull her down. Her perfect ass is cradled against my already hard cock that has me groaning as she settles.

“He wanted to know if we have any idea who the killer is as it will mess with his business as they send the heat down here,” King states.

“Has he looked inside his own club?” Hunter asks sarcastically.

“He says that the killer is not among his men and I believe that he thinks so because you all know Skull, if anything messes with his business they are gone,” King says.

“So, you are saying that the fucker is like a chameleon and can hide his sick tendencies from everyone?” Hunter says.

“He wouldn’t be the first one. Most serial killers, the people closest to them don’t know until they are caught,” Gunner says as he pulls up a chair and straddles it.

“It’s usually the quiet, grumpy ones,” Onix says with a cheeky smile at Frost, who completely ignores her comment and continues contemplating his beer.

“But one thing that Skull made me think about is that we are concentrating on his men. What if we are wrong and the killer is someone completely different?” Goliath asks as he looks around at everyone. “I mean, it’s probable that it’s one of them, but I think it won’t hurt for us to widen our search.”
