Sure enough, when I pull the edge of the curtain aside, I see exactly what I’d feared.

My parent’s RV. Parked in my driveway.

“Babe?” I can hear Beckett climbing out of bed behind me.

But I can’t answer him. I’m too busy freaking out.

“Lou, what’s wrong?”

Quickly turning, I lodge my hands against his chest to keep him away from the window.

The slap of my hands against flesh reminds me that he’s naked. Unbidden, my eyes drop to his cock and a pulse throbs through my body.

He’s entirely naked and still hard.

No time! I mentally shout at my libido.

I shake my head and force my eyes back up to his. “You have to go.”

“Go?” the sound of a slamming door filters into the house and his eyes narrow. “Elouise, who’s out there?” his tone has shifted from concern to anger, and I realize he must think I’m hiding him from another man.

Only it’s worse. So much worse than that.

“My parents are here!” I hiss, giving him a shove. “Put your clothes on!”

“Your parents?” Beckett’s eyebrows shoot up.

“Yes!”

I stand frozen for half a heartbeat, watching Beckett scoop his pants off the floor, before darting into my closet, ripping off my pajamas as I go.

In record time, I’ve switched to leggings, a sports bra, and an old college hoodie. I don’t look like I’m ready for the day, but hopefully I don’t look like I just rolled out of bed with Beckett.

Beckett!

Rushing back out of the closet, I find him pulling his shirt on.

A glance at the clock tells me it’s not even 8:00, but years of being a teacher means my parents know that I don’t sleep in.

And then the knocking starts.

Shit! Shit!

“Out!” I almost shout it at Beckett, then lower my voice. “You have to get out!”

Another round of knocking.

I groan, and briefly pretend I’m in a world where I’m still fast asleep, wrapped warmly in Beckett’s arms.

Clearly done with knocking, the doorbell chimes throughout the house.

Thankfully, my parents insisted on me changing the locks when I bought the house. Their reasoning was that it would stop them from coming in unannounced. But that obviously didn’t translate to them not showing up unannounced.

Beckett steps in front of me and grips my upper arms, holding me still, “Elouise, you need to relax. I’ve met your parents before.”

A small strangled sound leaves my throat, “Not like this!” I wave my hand around the room.

Oh god, I’m panicking.
