I kill omegas. Not fuck them.

Shit. Do we have to get suppressant pills now? We have to mask her perfume somehow. There’s no telling what any of us would do.

That beautiful omega is tearing our pack apart, and we need each other more than anything now. We should have just killed her back in the forest, but Sebastian had to suddenly develop a conscience. There’s also the fact that she killed a full-grown alpha with a shiv. That could be any one of us next.

Given the chance, she would murder us in our sleep—the tiny five-foot omega who looks like a little baby doll.

The one who’s currently hiding beneath her bed like a frightened child.

There’s also the government to contend with. They will expect a report back from us soon. They even asked for her body once we were through with her. Who knows what they plan to do with it, but it’s not my place to question the government.

I can’t fucking believe this. We’re harboring a fugitive. That’s a crime punishable by death.

We need to keep our wits about us.

The pack gathers around the dining room table for dinner, yet I don’t take my eyes off my phone. I barely pay any attention to my food. All I can think about is the omega, and it’s happening already...

I’m obsessed.

But I have my reasons for keeping my eye on her. My grandmother lives close by. I can’t have someone dangerous like that around my elderly grandmother. We had that camera installed long ago. That cell has served us well, and it’s where Sebastian likes to torture our ‘guests.'

Still, something doesn’t sit right with me. Here were are gorging ourselves while that omega lays beneath her bed.

I bet she’s starving.

What does she eat? I’m aware that the government controls their diets, and I heard omegas aren’t even allowed sugar.

How depressing.

Is she even allowed meat?

This is stupid. I shouldn’t even care. She should have been dead by now anyway. What the hell does Sebastian even plan to do with her?

Having seen enough, I put my phone away and glower across the table at the alpha. Like me, Sebastian barely touches his food, and I bet his mind is on the pretty little omega too.

Well, that’s what he gets for failing to do his job earlier, and I still have yet to reprimand him.Isaac isn’t exactly off the hook either, and I’ll be having a special word with him too.

When all is said and done though, she can’t continue to live. She has no place in this world anymore. No self-respecting alpha will want to knot her now. No alpha will want to bear her young.

She’s a damaged omega. She’s beyond repair.

I pick up my wineglass and take a sip, keeping my calculating gaze on Sebastian the whole time, and I look like a pretentious dick. I am a pretentious dick, but I have to be cruel to be kind. Who else is going to keep these two under control?

They’re like toddlers.

“So, pray tell, Sebastian… What plans do you have for our new guest?”

His dark eyes find mine, and I can feel them sucking the life from my soul. I don’t know what he’s so pissed about.

He’s not the one with an elderly granny; he’s not the one who has to find another way to get us the money we need. At the end of the day, he lost us50k. Well, not just yet. The omega is still in our custody. All we have to do is go down there and kill her, then send her off in a body bag.

I was never good at managing money. Rome is the more responsible of the two of us when it comes to finances, and considering he’s a whopping three minutes younger than I am, it’s a real blow to my self-esteem (a fact that he always likes to remind me of every time we meet).

Rome is a billionaire banker now, and an all-around stand-up guy. I was the reckless one growing up, yet Grandpa always had a soft spot for me. I guess he thought I could turn it all around.

“I am working on it,” Sebastian replies.

I chuckle. “Well, then. Keep me informed, would you? I’d hate for this to cause a rift between us...”
