“I was getting there.” Legend winked at her.

“Now is not the time to be smart with me. Or I’ll make you suffer before I let you have a turn,” Tavish threatened, though without much heat.

Legend didn’t antagonize Tavish. He left his partner to focus on fucking Karolena while he went for her clit. He tapped it first, then started rubbing circles around it in time to Tavish’s thrusts.

The introduction of the additional stimulation weakened her knees. She might have slid to the floor in a giddy puddle if Legend hadn’t been there to support her. He braced her, propping her up against his hip and holding her still for Tavish to plow.

It took everything Karolena had to hold on. Physically and mentally.

The release they were giving her was beyond what she had realized she’d needed. The massive highs and lows of her escape—terror, hope, desperation—amplified her response, providing her a way to vent the emotions she’d previously kept so tightly locked inside.

Karolena cried out, her nails clawing at the table while her face smooshed against it. Legend tried to help by using the hand not busy rubbing her clit to brace her neck. But the careful grip on her throat, though not violent in the least, triggered a flashback that made her thrash beneath him and Tavish. This time not in ecstasy.

Legend noticed immediately. “Hey, Karolena. You’re fine. I was trying to help, but I’m letting go. Be careful of your face near the table, okay? No one’s going to harm you here.”

Tavish halted his rocking motion. He remained deeply embedded in her, pulsing forward and backward the barest bit, as if he was using every bit of his restraint to put the brakes on his body when they’d both been so engrossed in what they did to each other.

The dearth of sensation shocked her back to reality and the present. They weren’t going to turn on her, even when she was most at their mercy.

Karolena looked into Legend’s worried face and attempted a smile. “I know. Sorry.”

“There’s nothing to apologize for.” Tavish petted her flanks. “Are you okay?”

“I will be if you let this go and pick up where you left off.” Karolena buried her face in her hands. “I was getting close.”

“I could tell.” Tavish groaned as he began again, this time with more finesse and less urgency. “Probably for the best we took a break or I might have flown with you.”

“Doubtful.” Legend looked shocked when he realized Tavish wasn’t joking. “Already?”

“Hey, tell me you can do better when you’re in here.” Tavish grimaced. “We can talk about the rest later. For now, action is going to have to be enough.”

“It is.” Karolena sighed as endorphins chased bad memories from her mind.

Legend resumed playing her, redoubling his efforts as Tavish nailed that sweet spot inside her over and over. It took only a few more strokes and she was there, grabbing for that whiteout of rapture that would take away everything but that moment and absolute pleasure.

“Go ahead, Karolena,” Tavish cooed to her. “Let go of everything but this.”

She did and she flew.

Her body spasmed around him. She hugged him a few times before he ripped himself away with another unintelligible phrase. Legend supplied his fingers for her to hold as her body rippled around them. Had Tavish been about to join her? And if so, why had he stopped?

They couldn’t really mean for her to do this over and over. Was that even possible? Would she survive it if so?

Her heart raced and her body throbbed. And still, she didn’t want it to end.

Certainly not when Legend hadn’t taken anything for himself. As soon as she could draw a lungful of air, she planned to tell him so. But the guys beat her to it.

Tavish took over holding her, then told Legend, “Get on the table. She can’t stand anymore.”

Legend sprang up beside her, then stretched out on his back, surprisingly agile for someone so muscular. He drew her over him like a blanket, her thighs splaying on either side of one of his. She rubbed her pussy on the curve of his quad as she rode out the orgasm they’d given her.

“Damn, Karolena.” He finger-combed her hair and admired her where she draped over him. He was like the world’s best teddy bear.

“You have no idea how badly I needed this,” she confessed quietly.

“I’m getting that sense.” Legend cuddled her close, which was fine until he shifted as if he was going to roll them both over.

Despite their careful handling and how thoroughly they’d already reshaped her view of what a healthy sexual encounter could look like, she wasn’t quite ready to be pinned down, trapped beneath the thrusting body of a man she had no chance of escaping.
