“You know karate or something?” he asks with a groan as he sits up and rubs his lower back.
“Yes, actually,” I say as I walk around so that I’m facing him. “Sorry about that.”
“No, no. You’re fine. Just didn’t expect you to throw me.”
“I…” I shrug and tuck some hair behind my ear. “Sorry.”
I think about offering to help him up, but no. No touching.
