In one swift move, I slam inside of her. Her head tilts back as the two of us moan in unison. I don't let up. I pull back out and thrust back in just as hard. My nerve endings ignite like wildfire as she digs her nails into my arms and wraps her legs around me.

The two of us meet thrust for thrust. The only sound that fills the room is our heavy breathing and the sound of me continuously slamming into her. I lean down and connect our lips in a bruising kiss. She pulls my bottom lip into her mouth, playing with my lip ring and brings me that much closer.

My thrusts start to become sloppy as I chase my high, and judging by the way Amelia starts to clench around me, hers is approaching just as fast. A few more fierce movements and the two of us release in unison, moaning loudly as we explode together.

The feeling of my cock pulsing inside of her only extends her orgasm the same way the feeling of her around me extends mine. When we finally come down, I pull out and roll beside her.

As if she knows exactly what she's done, she looks over at me and giggles.

I roll my eyes. “You're dangerous.”

Her grin widens. “You love me.”

“Yeah,” I admit, in total bliss, pulling her into my chest. “I love you.”

Lesson learned: Never underestimate a good girl with a devilish grin.

I'M WALKING ACROSS CAMPUS on the way to my car. I had brought Amelia to her late-night cheerleading practice, and while I was going to wait for her outside, it's becoming a little too cold for that. The moonlight and a few streetlights are all that light the area where I'm parked, but as soon as I get closer to my car, I see the shadow of someone behind me.

Spinning around, I'm faced with Rinaldo. He steps closer and looks me up and down as I say nothing. After turning Blade in, I was waiting for retaliation. I was honestly expecting Ray. The two of them seemed to be the closest, but if Rinaldo was, in fact, his boss, it would make sense why he would be the one to come after me.

“Zayn Bronsyn, right?” he asks, already knowing the answer.

“What can I do for you?”

He stays back a short way, and in the distance I can see a few of his guys lingering around. “I heard what you did to Blade. I'm just trying to figure out if you're going to be a problem I need to deal with.”

I shake my head immediately. “I can assure you, the shit between Blade and me was personal. He was threatening my girlfriend. He blew up her dorm room and then sent her to the hospital with a stab wound.”

He snorts. “Yeah, Marcus always has been a bit of a loose cannon.”

“Anything you've got going on, I want nothing to do with. I simply needed to protect what's mine. That's all.”

I keep my tone calm. Guys like him can smell fear from a mile away, and the last thing I need is to get on the bad side of another drug dealer. Hell, I just got us away from that mess. I don't think either one of us could handle it again.

He thinks it over for a second before he nods. “You're protective and loyal. I can respect that.”

All the weight that has been pressing down on me lifts, and I finally feel like I can breathe.

“Blade told me about you. Said you were a good one to have around.”

I chuckle at the irony and shake my head. “No offense, man, but I only got involved with him so he would leave my roommate alone. I don't really have any interest in your line of business.”

He snickers. “I got you. I just had to make sure you weren't a threat to me or my guys. If you ever need something, you let me know. All right?”

I thank him, but just before he goes to walk away, I think of something. “Hey, Rinaldo.” He stops and raises his brows. “Jace London. He one of yours?”

“Nah.” He shakes his head. “He's just a customer.”

“Okay, thanks.”

The two of us go our separate ways, and I pull out my phone to call Carter. He answers on the second ring, but I wait until I get in my car before saying anything.

“I got a little intel on Jace,” I tell him. “He's not dealing, so that's good at least.”

Carter lets out a heavy exhale. “Thank fuck, but I still don't know how to get a handle on this. Everything I try, he pushes back. Pretty soon, he's going to block me out entirely.”

“We could try an intervention?” It sounds corny, but all the things I used on Easton haven't worked on Jace, so ultimately, I've got nothing.
