“Yes.” Azalea’s tongue dashed against her lips. She wanted Jewel’s mouth against hers again, wanted to feel her skin pressing into hers.
Jewel started to move her hand between Azalea’s legs, but she squirmed and clenched her thighs tightly before moving away. “No, your turn.”
“How do you want me?”
Biting her lip, Azalea debated. She’d have Jewel any way she was offered, but if the choice was hers—Azalea smirked. “What’s your favorite way?”
“Before Indigo I would have said fingers.” Jewel flushed, red rushing to her cheeks as she turned her glance away from Azalea. “Now, I think I quite like your mouth.”
“Perfect,” Azalea purred. “Turn around and climb up.”
“What?”
“You heard me.” Azalea twirled her finger, waiting for Jewel to comply. It took a few awkward seconds as Jewel got positioned correctly on all fours, crouching over Azalea’s body, her ass in the air. Azalea ran her hands from Jewel’s breasts to her hips to her ass and then jerked Jewel down so she could reach her with her mouth.
Jewel hissed, jumping at the first touch. God, she was so ready for Azalea to take her. Azalea’s nose and tongue pressed into Jewel’s body, teasing, taunting as she held on tightly. Jewel rocked as she got closer to her orgasm. Azalea did everything she could to bring her there and then pulled back. She wanted this to last. Unlike what they’d done earlier that night, she wanted Jewel to be thrown into the pit of desire that seemed never to come to completion.
About the third time she backed away, Jewel dropped her hips down in retaliation. Chuckling low in her throat, Azalea brought her over the edge, holding her as she almost fell to her side. As soon as Jewel was steady, she moved off, laying lengthwise in the opposite direction of Azalea, her feet hanging off the side of the bed.
“Jesus, Lea.”
Laughing, Azalea turned on her side and propped her head up on her hand. “Good?”
“You’re ridiculous.”
“So you say.” Azalea sighed, the mood changing instantly as she played her fingers along Jewel’s thick thigh. “I’m glad you came back in tonight. I’m not sure what I’d do without you.”
“You could have come out to me.”
Azalea paled. “No matter how many times I told my legs to move, they refused to listen. I wanted to, J. I really did. I didn’t want you to leave like that, without explaining, without talking it out. I was so scared.” The last of what she said was on a whisper.
“Well, I’m right here.”
“You are.” Azalea sat up. “And I’m so glad you came back to me.”
Jewel mimicked her pose, brushing tender fingers over Azalea’s cheek. “I’ll always come back to you.”
“I know.” Azalea leaned in, their lips touching in a sweet embrace. “Will you stay the night?”
“It’s not like I haven’t slept over before.”
Azalea gave her a sheepish look. “It’s different this time.”
“It is.” Jewel nodded. “Yes, I’ll stay, but you’re going to have to make sure I get up early enough to go home and change before classes tomorrow.”
“Fine,” Azalea said exasperated. “Next time we crash at your place.”
They kissed again. It was perfect, sweet, gentle, nothing enticing—just general comfort and affection. Azalea stood up, beckoning Jewel off the bed as she turned down the sheets, turned off the lights, and crawled back into bed. As soon as Jewel joined her, she turned on her side, Jewel’s cooling skin pressing firmly against her back, her arm wrapping around Azalea’s stomach to hold on tight. Azalea closed her eyes, content for the first time in years. Whatever she had found in Jewel, whether it be love, affection, or hope, she was glad she had found it.
