“It was … out of this world. I mean, I can’t even begin to describe how damn good it was.”

“So, what happened?”

Darla sighed. “He called me to his photo-shoot. You know the day we saw Shaun on the television talking about your blog?”

“Yeah, I remember.”

“Well, while you were in the kitchen, I had a text come through saying it was an emergency.”

“What happened?” Addison asked, intrigued.

“I went to the photo-shoot, and he wasn’t anywhere to be found. When I got back to his trailer where he’d get ready, there was a romantic table setting there. He’d gone, and arranged for us to have a romantic lunch, Addie.”

The starry eyed look came over Darla.

“Romantic?”

“Yes, damn, Addie, it was just so romantic, and he was standing there, in his underwear, I will say, but it was amazing.” Darla sighed.

“His underwear?”

“He had a break, but he couldn’t get out of his underwear or have time to put a tux on. Dean said that I always forgot to each lunch, and he was going to make sure that I ate properly. It was really sweet, Addie.”

“So, I take it something more happened than lunch?”

“Yes. I was such an idiot. One moment we were eating our alfredo pasta, and the next moment, we were all over each other.” Darla sat back, fanning herself. “When it was over, he had to go and finish his photo-shoot, and I came and filmed you.”

“Shaun and I, we’re giving it a try, being a real married couple.”

“Really married?”

“You know, live together, share each other’s lives, and he wants to be part of my life.” As she tucked her hair behind her ear, her cheeks heated.

“Oh, I see, he wants to have sex.”

Biting her lip, she leaned forward staring at Darla.

“You have had sex with him, haven’t you?” Darla asked. “You’re both married?”

“Yes, we’ve had sex before this last week. It was awful though, really awful sex, and I hated it. I never experienced an orgasm, and we kept the lights off. It was sex for the sake of getting pregnant.”

Darla wrinkled her nose.

“It was bad, like really bad, and I hated it.”

“Wait, you said before this last week?”

Addison smiled thinking about the nights she’d shared with Shaun this last week. “He’s more than made up for it.”

Darla chuckled. “Good sex is always fun, right?”

“Right? Dean was good?”

“The best.”

Picking up her water, Addison laughed. “We’re bad.”

“The worst.”
