Sara
I’m as surprised as the next person that Adrien Banks spent most of last night reading. Not only reading. But lady porn, as Catherine lovingly likes to call it. We didn’t have sex, and I’m not ashamed to admit, my lady parts are a little relieved. They had really taken a pounding the last couple of days after an excessively dry spell. But man, knowing some of the filth in that book, I’m not worried. That’s the wrong word. I’m just wondering how long he’s gonna keep this up.
“I’m so sorry I’m late. Katie and Jaime were annoying me, and I lost track of time. I cannot wait for this wedding to be over, and I can go back to avoiding their calls and text messages. Why I let Bryan’s mother talk me into letting them be bridesmaids, I don’t know.”
“Because she wanted a big wedding, and what Bryan’s mom wants, she usually gets.”
“Truth. So, what hot sexual favors did you and Ady get up to last night? You look surprisingly well rested. Unless you’ve been in the spa again. In which case, I totally get it.”
“No. I had no sex last night.”
“Liar. Every time I have seen you guys, you can’t keep your hands off each other.”
“No, it’s true. We had a really nice night, actually. I came home from the spa, cooked us a nice meal in his amazing kitchen, and we then read next to each other for the rest of the night.”
Catherine looks at me like I’ve grown extra body parts on my face.
“Liar!”
I choke on my coffee and look up at her.
“Honest to God. I swear on all my books.”
This is a surefire way to find out if I’m lying or not, and I’ve just played a huge hand with Catherine.
She gets her phone out. It's obvious she’s going to text either Bryan or Ady.
I get a notification to join a group chat that Bryan, Catherine, and Ady already have.
Catherine smirks at me. She actually smirks.
“Don’t look at me. I didn’t add you.”
She’s flat out laughing at this point.
Sara: Wow, I feel honoured.
Sara: Thanks for adding me.
Bryan: Sara, you have me to thank.
Bryan: This is so much easier and way more fun.
Adrien: Yeah, Sara, they keep ganging up on me. There needs to be safety in numbers.
Catherine: So Adrien. Sara told me something, and I swear I need to hear it from you to see if it's true.
Bryan: This is going to be so fun.
Bryan: Ady what did you do?
Adrien: Nothing, I swear.
Catherine: Adrien, I will know if you’re lying.
Sara: Why would I lie.
Bryan: Catherine spill.
