Sara never stops surprising me. I love this Sara, who's sitting next to me. She's a lot more playful. I'm sure Catherine had a say in it.

“Ok, let’s see. I could tickle it out of you. I know how much you hate that. But I’m kind of liking this mood you’re in.”

She laughs next to me. She’s getting more confident now and has stopped hiding from me, choosing instead to lie back on the sand. Not only that, but she looks great and so at ease. Her sunglasses hide the glaring sun shining down on her.

“So that really limits my options, Sara. I’m guessing you have a workplace fantasy ‌we haven’t already acted on.”

God, those really were the days. Of course, I’m totally two faced and if I caught any people who work for me doing some of the things we did. Maybe I need to speak to HR. Re-evaluate some company policies. I know it’s a double standard, but it’s my company.

She smirks at me. How dare she. I know why. She thinks she’s going to win this round.

“Ok, maybe not that.” I really can’t think. “Give me a clue?”

“Ok. How much attention did you pay to some of the books I was reading?”

She rolls onto her side, looking back at me.

“Enough.” I don’t want to show all of my cards.

Sara always had a wide range of books on her shelf.

“Ok, I’ll give you the key word.”

She looks pretty pleased with herself.

“Contract.”

Then she stands up and walks away from where we are sitting. She puts her bag over her shoulder and walks away, smiling.

I play that one word around in my head. Contract. Contract. Contract. Ten, it comes to me. A sex contract. I have to run to catch up to her. I grab her around the waist from behind and rest my chin on her shoulder.

“You, naughty girl. Your mind automatically went to a sex contract.”

She looks at me, very pleased with herself.

“I’m never going to be able to hear the word again without getting hard, Sara. Not good when a fair amount of my working day involves the word.”

“He shoots. He scores.”

“Oh Sara, I can promise if I was ever going to give a sex contract to anybody, it would be you.”

We spendthe rest of the morning just enjoying each other's company. It’s nice. I don’t reply to a single e-mail. I know if Jenna has anything time sensitive, and I haven’t got back to her, she will call.

We go for a walk on the beach and Sara puts her hands on the top of my shorts, pulling me close to her. She pulls her fingers into my hair and scratches my scalp.

God, that feels good, really fucking good. She kisses me slowly at first, as if she’s trying to go slow. I put my arms around her middle and pull her to me. She feels so good in my arms.

She moans into my mouth, feeling my hardness pressed against her stomach. She digs her nails even more into my scalp and the feeling is even more amazing. She moans again. I jerk my hips into her.

“Ady, we need to get back to your place. Like ten minutes ago.”

Laughing between kisses, I pull away. Her arousal shines bright in her eyes. I break apart from her.

I pull away from her, and wordlessly, we walk back up to the road. I can see the hotel. It’s not too far away, but at this moment, it feels like it's a million miles away. She grips onto my hands, our fingers locked between each other. I’ve never felt more connected to her than I do now. It should scare me. But it doesn’t.

Sara couldn’t waitto get through the door to my apartment at the hotel. As soon as she is through it, she starts pulling her t-shirt over her head and unfastening her shorts, leaving clothes and shoes in her wake.
