My case was already in the room when Catherine needed us to pick up some stuff to take to the hotel. I then realized that Catherine and Bryan were getting married at Adrien's hotel.

I think Catherine just wanted a reason to gossip. As I’m sure Bryan would have happily dropped the stuff off himself.

She didn’t seem a bit surprised that Ady had moved me out of my hotel into his apartment in his hotel.

How the hell had it not come up in conversation that Ady and Adrien were the same guy? That was still lost on me.

I was so lost in my own thoughts; I hadn’t realized Ady had come to sit next to me on the couch and had managed to snake his arm around me. More to the point, my head automatically found his shoulder and was resting against it.

My body obviously was winning in this war currently battling between my head, body, and heart. Of course, my body is just remembering the amazing orgasms Ady was giving me last night.

This is a good thing, though. Ady is exactly what I’ve been missing in my life. Being with Ady just feels right. It feels like no time has passed, but at the same time, I feel like a different person. A person who could stand next to Ady now, not be in his shadow.

I have no idea what Catherine and Ady have been talking about this whole time, but it's nice to see how great they get on with each other. It’s obvious Ady is a close friend to both of them.

Catherine leaves the room and Ady puts his lips to my ear. “Is everything okay?”

“Absolutely. I’m just deep in thought. I’m also so comfy resting next to you. Someone kept me up most of the night. I’m feeling a little tired,” I whisper back, giving him a knowing smile.

“I could say the same. I didn’t hear any complaints.”

I can’t help but laugh out loud. As she walked into the room carrying a box, Catherine gives me a knowing look.

“Ady, thank you so much for picking this up. You saved me a trip.”

“Not a problem, Catherine.” Adrien picks up the box and leaves the room.

Once she had checked that the door has been closed.

“Spill Missy” she says.

“What?” I ask, trying to hold back the thoughts and girly giggles.

“I don’t think so. We are not playing that game.”

“Fine,” I pretend this is some great hardship to be telling her about some guy. “What do you want to know? I am warning you now, there are some things I am not willing to share.”

“Eww gross. Ady is like the brother I never had.”

That gets a chuckle out of both of us.

“You seem happier in the last 24 hours than you’ve seemed in a couple of years.”

Sucker punch. Have I been that gloomy around my friends?

“Yeah, the guy seems to have that effect on me. Always has.”

“I have warned him with castration if he breaks your heart again.”

“Ok Catherine. Calm down.”

“Not by me. That was all Bryan.”

Wow. That shocks me a bit.

“What can I say, he’s the guy. He’s always been the guy. I just need to reign these feelings in a little, though, because come Monday we’re gonna be on opposite sides of the country, and we all know what happened last time.”
