“Jax is responsible for the beautiful rope work securing Gracie to the table.Micah isn’t a huge fan of hot wax, but there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his wife.”Carson agreed both men were completely devoted to Gracie.Even though Jax was the first one to meet Gracie, Micah Drake is equally enthralled.

“Imagine having two men focused on your pleasure. Two men who believe your trust is their greatest treasure.”If Carson hadn’t been holding her, he might have missed the shiver skittering up her spine. He’d bet his considerable fortune, Fallon had already fantasized about ménage. It was his and Silas’s job to make her wildest dreams a reality.

Carson wanted nothing more than to head upstairs and spend the rest of the evening getting to know Fallon much more intimately. They’d start in the elevator, stripping her, so their view of her world-class ass wasn’t obscured as she walked into the apartment. It seemed odd to think how much his mindset had changed in a few hours. He and Silas often wondered if a polyamorous relationship was in their future—worried they were looking for a woman who didn’t exist. He hadn’t been sure they’d ever agree about a woman, but Fallon had changed everything.

As they walked through the main room, Fallon relaxed more the further they went.He wondered if she was becoming somewhat desensitized to what was happening around her, or she was envisioning herself in the scenes.Perhaps she was wondering what it would feel like to be paddled or flogged.By the time they’d circled the room, Carson could see she was fading. When she tripped over the edge of a throw rug, he and Silas knew it was time to get her upstairs.

As they led Fallon to the elevators, Silas sent a quick text to Kent, letting him know they were calling it a night and promising to touch base first thing in the morning. Before the elevator doors were sealed, Carson asked her if she needed something to eat before bed.She shook her head, but he turned her, so they were face to face.

“You’re always expected to answer with words, Cher.Dominance and submission rely on trust and communication. While the first is earned, it’s dependent on the second. If you answer with words, we will all have a better chance of getting it right.”

She nodded but quickly caught herself.

“I understand. It’s always that way in the books I’ve read. No, I’m not hungry, but thank you for asking. It’s been a long day.Since I didn’t have to work behind the bar tonight, I think my body has decided to shut down early.I’m not sure what’s happening.I can usually work a double shift without thinking twice.”

“When was the last time you slept? And cat naps in your car do not count, Cher.”Carson didn’t like the way her brow furrowed as she considered her answer. If you have to think that hard to remember when you slept last, it has been too damned long.

“Probably before I left New York.I didn’t want to waste money on motel rooms since I don’t know how long my ex can hold up my license transfer.Honestly, I have no idea why he cares. He didn’t seem terribly alarmed when I walked into my apartment and found him in bed with one of the nineteen-year-old clerks from the store where I worked. And inviting me to join them?Ewww.”It was the first time she’d alluded to why she’d left so abruptly.

After seeing the interest in her eyes downstairs each time they’d stopped to watch a ménage scene, it wasn’t hard to imagine her sharing her interest with the man she was dating. She’d entrusted him with information, and the jackass probably used it in a way that benefited him rather than met the needs of the woman he was supposed to care for—selfish bastard.

“We’re going to have a long conversation about your ex, sweetheart, but I think it’s a conversation for tomorrow.Tonight, we’d like to play a bit, then make sure you get a good night’s sleep.”

Carson appreciated Silas stepping up when he’d been too distracted to mention their intentions.

“We don’t want to overwhelm you, but we will begin as we intend to go.”Stopping in the middle of the spacious apartment, Silas turned Fallon toward him and kept his hands wrapped around her upper arms.

“First, a few ground rules. We are both interested in pursuing what appears to be a mutual attraction. If that isn’t the case, you need to say something now.”Fallon’s shy smile and deep blush was all the answer needed, but it was important for her to respond.

“I’m interested, although I feel foolish since it doesn’t make sense for me to jump out of the frying pan into the fire.”

Carson was impressed. Her response was perfect. Not only was she interested, she understood the need for caution.

“We understand and will respect any boundaries you set, but be aware, we will push you.Hell, every Dom I know is a pushy bastard who enjoys showing a submissive the pleasure that lies just outside their comfort zone.”Carson was known for pushing submissives. He often pushed them too far, too fast, sending them scurrying back to the comfort of the unattached subs area of the club.

“I’m not as shy and retiring as I might have first appeared.I’ll speak up if I’m not comfortable or need a break.I assume Prairie Winds uses the stoplight system?”Carson and Silas smiled. It was obvious Fallon hadn’t been kidding when she claimed to have read about the lifestyle.

After the explosion of erotic romance books flooded the market, Carson did enough research to know they were usually fairly accurate on a few points and one hundred eighty degrees out on everything else. The basics, like safe words and the stoplight system to assess a submissive’s comfort level, were usually explained fairly well.It was the internal struggle subs experienced when giving up the control he’d found glossed over at best and completely misrepresented at worst.

It was going to be interesting to see how easily she transitioned from fictional submission to reality.
