"Both."
Tor very deliberately bit out an expletive.
"Exactly."
"You do not know who it is?"
He framed it as a question, but Tor had no doubt he was right. If Geir knew the name of the culprit, he would have named him.
"Not as such, no."
"What does that mean?"
"The leaks happen after Blythe has been to visit Janne."
Something inside Tor seized painfully. "Impossible. Blythe would never betray the sister of her heart."
Or the rest of the Royal family. Blythe valued her place among them too deeply, even if she'd made it clear she didn't actually want to become one of them. Not if it meant committing to him for a lifetime.
Geir shrugged. "I would have thought not, but the timing cannot be denied. Either she's leaking information, or someone she trusts enough to talk about us, is doing it."
"Blythe doesn't have any friends that close outside our family." For whatever reason, Tor could not deny the now defunct friendship between him and the journalist.
"People change, Tor."
Tor shook his head decisively. "Not like that. Not Blythe."
"You haven't even seen her in a year. Have you spoken to her?" Geir look was speculative.
"Are you having me watched?" Tor should not be startled that his brother was aware he had managed to avoid Blythe that long, but he was. It wasn't as if the family never saw him, or her. Just never together. "And no, I have not spoken to her."
He let nothing of what he felt about that show in his expression or his voice.
"Of course you are being watched," Geir affirmed sardonically. "We all are. If not by our own security, then by the media or those interested in our country or business."
Okay, maybe that had been a stupid question.
"I do not need to speak to Blythe to know she would never leak privileged information to the media," Tor informed his brother.
"Her travel docuseries has been picked up by a large streaming service. The timing is suspect."
"You think she parlayed information in exchange for what? Entrée to the execs at the streaming service?"
"They are doing another docuseries, one on modern day royals. Our family is slated to feature prominently."
Tor had to agree that the timing was suspect, but Blythe wasn't. "What exactly is it you want from me?" Tor asked.
"Find out if Blythe is the leak, and if she's not, who is."
"Why me?" Surely this was a job for their security people.
"You and Blythe are friends. You should be able to figure out what is going on without ever letting her know you were looking into it. If she's not the source of the leak, we don't need the drama that would ensue if she realized she was suspected."
"She's your friend too. Why am I being tasked with this?"
"She's the dear friend of my sister-in-law, not my friend," Geir said.
"And you think it is different for me?"
