“I don’t know where she is or who took her,” Jayden said.
I raised my fist, and he held up a hand to indicate that he wasn’t done.
“Enzo bought some land around here, under a pseudo corporation. He’s expanding his enterprise and planning on finishing what the off-gridders started some time ago.”
“And what is that exactly?”
Jayden’s jaw was tight. A flash of something crossed his face.
Was it fear?
“Not for me to say, but he might take your girl there. It’s pretty remote, makes the off-gridders home look like paradise.”
Damn. “Do you have an address?”
“Can’t say I do, but I’m sure with your Eagle Tactical expertise and connections, you can figure it out.”
“Does Enzo have a last name?” I asked.
“Ricci. His name is Enzo Ricci, but you didn’t hear it from me.”
