“Where else?” I ask, not ready to hear this, but I have to; I need her to say the words, so I know when I break these two vile pieces of shit, when I leave here tonight, they will deserve it. Of course, they fucking will, but at least I can look at Cass and tell him undoubtedly why. He's gonna be so fucking destroyed.

“Mommy said I can't ever tell,” she looks up at me with her bright blue eyes.

“Remember, no one will know. You won't get in trouble.”

She sits in my lap and plays with my fingers for a little while. I sit and wait patiently until she's ready. “He massages my gina. I don't like it. It hurts. But when I tell them, they tell me to be a good girl, and I'll get toys, candy, and ice cream.”

My heart breaks, and I want to cry. I don’t fucking cry. Ever. Even when I was taken by force every day for years. But this little girl here already owns me. I’ll kill and die for her. I don't care that I just met her today. She’s precious and innocent.

She goes on to tell me what he makes her do to him, and it takes everything in me not to lose the contents of my stomach all over her pretty pink floor.

I change the subject after thanking her for trusting me, and we talk and read books. I tuck her in and sing her a song of her choice. She asked forSomewhere Over the Rainbow, and by the time I was done, she’s passed out cold. Giving her little cheek a kiss, I quietly leave the room.

The moment the door clicks shut, Queenie comes out. I'm a woman on a mission, and no one will get in my way. When I enter the living room, everyone goes quiet.

Cass gets up. “She's asleep,” I tell him in a cold voice.

“Her mother is coming to get her, Harlow, why did you let her go to sleep?”

I get right in his face. “That little girl will NOT be going back to that bitch, and that monster she calls her husband. You will get everything that little girl needs to be here full time. I will give you anything you need to make that possible. But hear me now,” my voice is dangerous and low. “By the end of the night, that woman and the perverted piece of shit she married will be dead and gone. And it will happily be done by my hand.”

Cass’s eyes go wide. He knows I don't just kill anyone. “What did she tell you?” he growls, but I can see his mind is running a million miles a minute.

“Let me do my job, Cass. Trust me when I say this; they deserve it,” I say, my heart chipping at how his face drops.

“No,” he whispers. “Please no. Not my baby girl.” His eyes fill with tears and then with anger. “I'm gonna kill him. I'm gonna rip him to shreds!” he says through gritted teeth.

“I'll take care of them. Let their blood be on my hands,” I say, taking one of his hands and giving it a squeeze. I'm not good with affection. I'm not in a place with these guys yet, where I'm okay with hugging them and shit.

“He is mine,” Cass growls.

I look into his broken eyes for a moment before nodding. “But she's mine,” I tell him, and he nods.

I walk past him and the others, heading for the door. They all start losing their shit. As I open the door, ready to call Evie and track down my new playmates, I'm met with a good-looking blonde woman. She looks me up and down with a sneer as she takes in my tight jeans and long-sleeved crop top. “Who the fuck are you?”

My smile grows into things nightmares are made of. Karma, I owe you one. Thanks for bringing her right to me. Without saying a word, a manic smile slips into place, and I head-butt her. Hard. I used all my force, sending my head crashing into hers. She lets out a high-pitched wail. Her hand comes up to cup her now broken nose as it gushes blood. “You crazy bitch!”

“Oh, Hunny, you ain't seen nothing yet!” I crow and let out a whoop of excitement as I bring up my foot and kick her with such force, it sends her flying down the stairs and right onto the lawn. Smiling wide, I jog down the stairs over to her. When she tries to get up, I push her down with my foot again, digging my heel into her chest. She lets out a pained grunt.

Straddling her chest, I lean over, bringing my face close to hers. “I know what you did to that beautiful little girl,” I whisper. Her eyes go wide.

“I didn't do anything. Whatever she told you was a lie. Little kids lie all the time,” she stammers. Even though she doesn't know who I am yet, she's no match for me, and she clearly knows it.

“Sitting by and watching as your husband does unspeakable things to her is exactly the same as doing those things yourself,” I whisper. “So, here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna give you and your husband thirty minutes to get in a car and drive. You’re not gonna get away; that much is a given, but it will give you some time to think about how much of a shitty human you are before I hunt you down, and then, we’ll play,” I grin. She's shaking now. Bringing my mouth to her cheek, I lick the side of her face like the crazy fuck I am. “Mhmm. Watching the life drain from your eyes while you beg and plead for your life is gonna taste so sweet,” I whisper against her cheek, and she whimpers. Skimming my lips from her cheek to her ear, I bring her earlobe into my mouth, giving it a little nibble before sinking my teeth into the soft flesh and ripping it off. She howls in pain; sobs start racking her chest. I climb off her, and her hands fly to her ear as she continues to scream.

Spitting the chunk of ear out, I smile my bloody-toothy smile at her. “Run along now, little piggy. The big bad wolf is coming to gobble you up. And I'm famished,” I taunt, grinning even wider, then I start cackling, making her even more terrified.

She scrambles away quickly, screaming and crying as she races off to her car. I pull out my cell and dial Evie. “Intercept incoming 911 calls. Send through any that are not a crying little cunt who may claim someone attacked her and bit off her ear,” I say, smiling as I watch the car take off down the road.

“Do I even want to know?” Evie laughs.

My mood sobers. “It's not good, E. It's the ultimate sin in my eyes. I'm gonna need you to come down here soon and watch Rosie. I don't trust anyone else with her. Bring a few of the guys for backup if you want.”

“No,” she whispers. “Not Rosie.”

“Don't worry, that little girl will never feel pain again in her life if I have anything to do about it,” I growl.

“I know, Low. Have fun.”
