“Who are his cousins?” I say in an eerily calm tone, a complete one-eighty from the irritated one I had only moments before.

“Umm, there's Dean, Axel, and I think his twin brother’s name is Cassius.”

I guess this day had to come one way or another. No doubt, they would have come across my path eventually. So, in trouble, are they? Well, I guess those brownie points with Karma worked out in my favor after all. They don't deserve to live in that big mansion of theirs, living the high life. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t curious about this whole thing.Do they know I’m Queenie? No, they can’t know that. No one knows my real name or who I am, except for Evie and the girls. Not even the guys who work for me know my name, except for Lucas, Tommy, and Max. Everyone who does knows not to speak it when there are prying ears listening. And did he say there was a kid?A pang of hurt hits me at the fact that they started a family without me. I shouldn't care.Actually, I don't care.

So, should I take this meeting? What the hell, why not. They should be useful forsomethingand if not, I could always just get my revenge. My position in their world is proof enough that they were wrong about me, and the pain they caused me needs to be returned. Maybe then, they will finally understand that women are not playthings.

“Call your friend back, tell him I'll meet with them tomorrow night, 9 pm.”

He looks at me, confused. “But tomorrow's D-Day. Don't you normally do your show around that time?” he asks.

“Yes, and nothing about that has changed. We just have some extra guests to entertain.” My smile grows so big and sinister that Connor looks like he's about to shit his pants. He spins and takes off running.

As I head up to my place, I can't help but laugh the whole way there.

Locking the door behind me, I make my way to my room. Black brick walls surround one big rectangle. The kitchen is to the left of the main door, all new and fancy and shit. On the other side of the room, on the left side, is a flat-screen TV with a couch in front of it. Between the kitchen and the living room is a little hall that leads to my room, the guest room and the bathroom.

Crawling into my big four-poster California king. I snuggle under the blankets, closing my eyes and trying to go to sleep. Only, I can’t because my mind is racing a mile a minute as I come up with all the ways I can use this situation to my advantage.

Buckle up, boys; you’re in for the ride of your life!
