He’d enjoyed the heck out of my tongue piercing.
All weekend long.
“I think we’re going to be the best of friends,” Trey had said while gazing rather lustfully at my tongue.
Marco and Lola sprung back onto the screen. “Oh, did you see that, Marco?”
Marco raised his eyebrows. “I certainly did, Lola.”
“And to think—we got to witness the exact second these two made a love match!”
She brought the back of her hand up to her forehead. “Don’t they look fantastic together?”
“That they do, Lola. What a way to break the ice. Those two really are pros—on and off the ice.”
The audience laughed at that.
I shook my head.
After that, it showed us dancing and drinking.
Drinking and dancing.
Then running into the wedding chapel.
Holy cow.
I’d seen pictures of us in there.
And a couple of shoddy camera phone videos.
But there must’ve been cameras in the wedding chapel because this footage was really clear.
I’d picked out a veil to wear, and a pretty, pink bouquet to hold.
When I came back out and walked up the aisle to him—the look on his face was—gosh.
It made my heart flutter.
And butterflies chase each other in my stomach.
The women sitting with me right now all decided to catcall, and tease me at the same time.
All I did was roll my eyes at them.
They quickly hushed as Trey and I were saying our vows.
We looked really cute.
Trey stared at me like he—really loved me.
And I stared back at him the exact same way.
I felt our excitement practically ooze off the screen.
“You guys are so freaking adorable I can’t even stand it,” Jillian said, and gave me a side hug.
She was right, though.
