Tarin: Chapter 9

I was nervous as I came downstairs. The last few weeks had not only gotten me closer to Outlaw, but to Bear and Ilara. They got to bring Hope home from the hospital. She was quickly worming her way into my heart. She was so adorable. I’d go over to their house and we’d play with dolls and I’d dress her up. I’d made dresses to match two of the hats I'd made for her. She loved them and we could hardly get her to take them off.

Ilara, I discovered, was a beautiful soul. She was sweet, kind, and so welcoming. It was genuine. She wanted to have me be in their lives. That’s why I was coming down the stairs at their house on Christmas morning. They’d convinced me to stay the night, so I could be here and watch Hope open her gifts.

Bear and Ilara were up as well as Hope. I helped Ilara make breakfast while Bear sat with Hope by the tree. He was there to keep her from opening them. As soon as we’d eaten, we let her open her gifts. I laughed at the looks on her face. I’d gone almost as crazy as they did on the gifts. She was squealing and clapping her hands. When she was done opening her stuff, she played with some of her new toys.

They insisted I open mine next. I was stunned to see the number of gifts for me. They’d gotten me beautiful clothes, a matching set of earrings and a necklace in rubies and diamonds, a gorgeous pair of boots, and a spa package. When I was done, I looked at them with a lump in my throat. “I don’t know what to say. This is incredible. Thank you. I was wondering what to get you guys, then I thought of something. I hope you enjoy it. If you want to exchange it, we can.”

I handed them a small box. I’d thought hard on what to get them. Finally, I’d landed on a joint gift. When they opened it, they gave me shocked looks. It was a two-week vacation to Tahiti. Bear shook his head. “Tarin, this is too much. We can’t accept this.”

“If it’s the money, then don’t worry about it. The one thing my stepfather did was leave his money behind when he died. It was the only nice thing he ever did. I don’t usually spend it, but this is a good thing. It’s for your honeymoon. It’s open ended for when you want to take it. I’m also volunteering to watch Hope for you while you go. If you don't like the place, we can change that too.” I watched them nervously. Did they hate it? Suddenly, Ilara jumped up and gave me a hug. I hugged her back, and Bear wrapped us both up in his arms.

“Thank you, so damn much, honey. We love it even though you spent way too damn much,” he whispered to me. We settled down and I watched them open their stuff from each other. Once everything was open, we cleaned up the paper and got ready to go to the clubhouse. They would be having Christmas dinner there, after they had a little celebration for the single members. There were even more gifts for Hope and the babies. I’d gotten the babies something too. I couldn’t help it. They were so darn cute.

Outlaw attached himself to me as soon as we entered the clubhouse. I didn’t mind at all. He’d been slowly worming his way into my heart. He was always so considerate and loving. It was hard for me to know how to respond when he hugged, kissed, and held me. He told me how beautiful I was and how much he wanted me. He talked about the future like it was a given.

At night, I fell asleep in his arms. I was almost at the end of my control when it came to that. I wanted him desperately. Last night proved how much when I had to go to bed without him. How could he have gotten this deep inside of me, in such a short period of time? I was never one to trust people, especially men. He gave me a kiss. “Merry Christmas, Jewel. How was your morning?” I loved when he called me that. He said I was his jewel.

He’d been invited to come to Bear and Ilara’s house, but he said he’d told Bear he wanted to let us enjoy it as a family for the first time. He held my hands as we watched the others open their stuff. There were gag gifts as well as a few serious ones. When they were done, it was time to wait for dinner. We’d done a lot of work ahead of time, so it wasn't a mad rush to prepare and cook everything. Outlaw took my hand. “Come with me, Tarin.” I let him lead me down the hall.

He took me to his room and locked the door. He came up and pulled me close. He kissed me and it made my whole body catch on fire. When he let me take a breath, we were both breathless. “I have something for you. I hope you like it. Well, I have a few things for you, but this is the most important. Close your eyes.” I closed my eyes, wondering what it was. I hadn’t forgotten about him. I had his surprise hidden at Bear’s house.

I heard him open and then close what I assumed was his closet door. His hands tugged on my arms, lifting them, then a heaviness surrounded my shoulders and upper body. “Open your eyes.” I slowly opened them and looked down. I was wearing a leather vest, I mean, a cut. I quickly turned, so my back was to the mirror on the wall. On the back was the Warriors logo and Property of Outlaw. I lost my breath. I stared at it for several seconds before I looked down again at the front. Over my heart was the word, Jewel.

He was anxiously looking at me. “Babe, say something. Is it too soon? I just wanted you to know how serious I am about you. I want you to be my old lady, Tarin. I told you what that means. This shows you and everyone else that you’re mine. I’ll do anything and everything to protect you and love you. I’m not playing some stupid game.”

I didn’t say a word. I stepped into his arms and wrapped mine around his neck, tugging his head down, so I could kiss him. I put everything I was feeling about him and that cut into that kiss. He growled and then had his hands under my ass. Lifting me up, he walked backward to the bed and sat down with me on his lap. We kissed for I don't know how long—long enough to be panting and so horny I could scream. I went to undo the buttons on my shirt. It was time to give myself to him. He stopped me.

“Jesus don’t do that or I won’t be able to stop. I want you so much I can’t breathe, but I don’t want a quickie in my room. Then we’d have to go act like we’re fine for the rest of the day. I want to spend hours making love to you, Tarin. Save that for tonight,” he begged. I could feel his huge erection pressing up into my folds. I wiggled, causing him to groan in pain.

I smiled. “Okay, just remember to pay up later.”

He grinned at me. “Oh, I won’t forget. So, does that mean you’ll accept my property cut? Will you be my old lady?”

I nodded, and he kissed me. This time when we parted to take a breath, he stood up and put me to the side on his bed. He went to his closet and came back with brightly wrapped boxes. He sat down and handed them to me. Inside, he’d gotten me a leather belt, riding gloves, a gorgeous silver cross which was ornate and had what looked like sapphires in it. He’d also gotten me a few beautiful, sexy tops and a pair of jeans that made me want to put them on and show off my biker babe look.

After I'd thanked him profusely with more kisses, I took his hand. “It’s your turn. Let’s go see what everyone’s doing, then I'll show you your gift. However, I want to take this off first.” I went to remove my property cut. His face fell.

“No, don’t look like that. I want to wait until after dinner and then show it off. Is that okay?” He smiled and nodded. He got up, as I took it off and hung it in his closet. We went out to the common room. Everyone was having fun. Some guys were playing cards and a video game while others held babies. I saw that some of the ladies were gone. I needed to get back and help finish dinner. Ilara was in the common room. She gave us a curious look. I couldn’t wait to show them my cut later.

We bundled up in our jackets. It wasn't freezing outside, but it was cold. I led him out the door and then we walked to Bear’s house. He was giving me a puzzled look. When we got there, I told him to wait outside in the driveway. He stood there as I went inside and then I came out into the garage. I hit the garage door opener. As the door rose, I waited to see his face. At first, he was staring and not understanding what he was seeing, then his eyes widened and his mouth fell open.

Sitting in the middle of one of the spots, in front of Bear’s bike, was another one. This one had a big red bow on it. I had Bear help me with it, since I knew nothing about Harleys or what Outlaw would want. He had a beautiful Harley painted royal blue. Bear said it was a cruising bike called a Fat Boy. This one was what was called a touring bike, so it had metal storage bags on the sides and a nice backrest for the passenger. Bear said it was a Street Glide Special. I got it in gray metallic and black with black finish instead of chrome. He walked into the garage and around the bike. When he was done, he looked at me. “Jewel, this is too much. I can’t accept this, baby.”

“You don’t like it?” My heart felt like it fell into my boots.

“I love it, but it’s too much money.”

I walked over and wrapped him in my arms. “The money doesn’t matter. If you love it, then that’s what counts. I have money, Damian. It’s people to spend it on, who I care about, that I haven’t had. Please, I was told this was the bike you wanted. If you want something different or a different color, we can exchange it.”

He hugged and gave me a kiss before he whispered, “It’s exactly what I wanted, just like you’re exactly what I want.” We kissed until I knew we had to stop or I'd let him take me on the floor of my dad’s garage.

“Wanna ride it back to the clubhouse?” I teased. He laughed. After he got on, he told me how to get on and where to put my feet. It was only a hop and skip back, but I loved it. He parked and then hurried inside, holding on to my hand. When we got in the common room, the guys started teasing us about where we’d run off to.

“Why don’t you come outside,” he told them.

This got them curious, so they threw on their jackets and stomped outside. He got to show off his new baby. The other guys were in lust with it. The ladies told me they’d never hear the end of it. I laughed with joy to see him so happy. When they were done, they took Hope outside to play in the snow. It wasn’t a lot, but she was excited.
