Of course he does. As long as her being happy means her being away from me. The less he knows, the better, considering I now may have to plan a wedding for my brother and the love of my life.

“You should talk to her. She called me terrified that you were going to kill me.” I exhale and shake my head at the unhinged woman in the office. “And we should havethattaken care of.”

“He’s mine! You promised! You said you’d kill him and then Chase would be mine!”

She continues to scream as she’s dragged away. Garrett shakes his head. “I don’t want to know about that one.”

“Listen, some girls are crazy for rock stars and some are just crazy. Hopefully she gets the help she needs,” I murmur.

With that and a shared drink, we call it a night and I head home, running my fingers through my hair. I text Chase to bring Olivia over and to use the back entrance. I have no doubt that Garrett is going to keep monitoring things.

Olivia shows up, a big smile on her face and Chase looks just as pleased. They’ve obviously had a good night and jealousy flares in me. She’s supposed to be mine. He’s just the cover.

Olivia kisses his cheek and welcomes his arm around her easily. They stare at me expectantly. Finally, Olivia speaks. “So tonight went well?”

“Congratulations. You’re engaged,” I tell her. “You and Chase will be getting married.”

They blink at me and Chase holds up his hands. “I’m sorry, what? I thought that was a fucking joke.”

“But…” Olivia looks between us and I see tears threatening her eyes. She swallows and nods. “Explain, please.”

“I was under the impression that you two had real feelings for each other.” It’s satisfying to see them both in a panic. I can’t lie about that. Maybe their feelings for each other aren’t that strong, after all. Not like mine. Because I’d marry her in a heartbeat if I could. Not that it has ever come up, but I wouldn’t hesitate for a second.

“We do,” Chase snaps. “But marriage is a big thing.”

“Exactly.” Olivia nods. “I mean, we’ve only been dating for a few weeks! He has to go back to his team soon and—”

“That only means the engagement will be a long one. And time is just what we need right now,” I elaborate. “I’ll help plan the wedding, obviously.”

“Which is code for fucking Olivia whenever you want,” Chase growls.

I shoot him a glare. We’ve been tolerating each other, and most of the time we get along great. But when Olivia gets involved, I know he’s frustrated. I’d rather have her all to myself too, but she’s worth all the discomfort my brother could throw at me, especially when she starts moaning.

“Look, we have an agreement,” I tell Chase. “You’re free to leave at any point. I’m aware of how much I’m asking.”

“It’s…” His eyes flick to Olivia. I know he wants to know what’s on her mind. Between them, she’s the one in charge.

She exhales and hugs Chase, rubbing his chest slowly. “It’s weird, but I love you, Chase. I love you too, Stephen. I’m greedy and I know it.” He kisses the top of her head. She swallows. “And I’d be happy to marry you.”

He blinks a few times and exhales. “Things won’t change between the three of us?”

“No,” I say firmly. I’m not going to take a backseat. One day, I’ll tie the knot with her for real, but as far as everyone else needs to know, it will be Chase that gives her the Grant last name. “Nothing changes. We can have a ceremony that’s not legally binding if you’d like.”

“Olivia is the only woman in the world for me,” Chase murmurs. “If she wants to get married, I’m not saying no.”

She treats him to a gentle smile that he returns tenfold. He’s head over heels for her. I can’t even imagine him looking at another woman. “Then looks like we have a wedding to plan.”

“I better get you a ring, sweetheart,” Chase tells her before nodding to me, watching me carefully. “Make sure the wedding is classy, but casual.”

“Of course.”

The three of us talk about who will be invited, whether or not to invite our mother, and then get to work. It takes months, which is harder considering Olivia goes to visit Chase regularly, even if I can’t join. But I get alone time with her too, and I savor each moment we have together.

Garrett eagerly speaks to me about the wedding and things move forward with the world, press, and our families believing things are exactly as they should be. Chase is marrying Olivia, both are happy as can be, and I’m the supportive older brother happy to put it together.

It’s better than people knowing that Olivia spends more nights on my cock than not. It’s better than anyone knowing I’m sharing her with my brother for the sake of my life and her sanity. Not that I could possibly break her heart again. Never again.

Anything I can give, I will. Even if I have to give her the freedom to have my brother too. I feel the weight of that choice as I straighten his tuxedo for the wedding. But seeing Olivia walk down the aisle in a white mermaid-cut dress that makes her look like the stunning, elegant, radiant woman she is settles every bit of unrest in me.
