Chapter Eleven
Ava turned one way and then the other in front of the mirror. She debated on changing her dress because she thought the one she was wearing was a little short.
Glancing at the time, she knew if she didn’t leave soon, she’d be later than she already was, and she’d never hear the end of it from the girls.
She grabbed a light jacket and her purse and walked out the door, making sure her alarm and a few lights were on. The last thing she wanted was to come dark, unsecured house.
On the way to Sienna’s house, she thought over everything Sean had told her the day before. She couldn’t get some of it out of her head, and she even dreamed about some of it. Mainly his hand on her ass.
She couldn’t remember ever being spanked, but the thought of him doing it turned her on. Something was wrong with her because she had never thought this way before, and now all sorts of erotic images were racing through her head.
It didn’t help that she listened to the girls talk when they were at the library for the book club. Most of them had no filters.
Her Google Maps had her turn so many times that she knew she’d be lost if she didn’t have it. She finally pulled up to a huge house, parked, and sat staring. She hadn’t known Sienna’s man was this wealthy, and it made her pause to think how out of place she’d be.
The thought of turning around and going home became a better idea every minute.
Her phone beeped, and she smiled when she saw the name. Sienna was texting her to see where she was, and after a deep breath, she typed back that she was in the driveway.
Within a minute, the front door flew open, and several girls raced out, stood on the top step, and looked around. One of them pointed at her car, and the group headed her way.
Her door was wrenched open, and she was dragged out.
“What took you so long?” Sienna asked as she tugged her toward the house.
“I’m sorry. I got home late from work. You know you don’t have to drag me, right?”
The girls giggled and kept maneuvering her into the house.
Her breath caught in her throat at her first sight of the inside. It was so big and pretty, but it still had a homey feeling to it.
Her jacket and bag were taken from her and tossed onto a chair by the front door.
To the right, Ava could see a group of people. Most of them were large men. Some of them were in suits and some in jeans.
Nia pulled her over. “You know my and Larkin’s daddy. Come and meet some more,” she told her.
Ava smiled when the girls started pushing her into the room. Most if not all of the men turned to the group of girls and stared at her.
She could feel her face heat and knew it was probably beet red. She couldn’t look any of them in the eyes either.
Travis came forward and shook her hand. “I’m glad you could come, honey.”
“Thank you.”
Nia introduced everyone, but Ava was so nervous she was afraid she wouldn’t remember them. Several of them commented on her green eyes and black hair, and she could feel her blush deepen, which made them smile.
“Let’s show her around,” Larkin said.
Larkin’s daddy shook his head. “Girls, stop pushing her. I know for a fact she can walk on her own.”
The girls giggled, and Ava grinned.
A man walked up and scowled down at them. Ava could feel herself cringe away from him, and his expression instantly softened.
“Hi, honey. I’m Kane, and I’m Sienna’s daddy. I didn’t mean to scare you, but we’ve told the girls not to run so many times.”
“We keep forgetting, Daddy,” Sienna said.
