Chapter Twelve
Amber was lightly dozing when the hospital door opened, and two men and women walked in.
Cesar gripped her hand. “Pequeña, I want you to meet my friends. This is Travis and Nia, and the other couple is Kane and Sienna.”
Amber pulled the blanket farther up until it covered her chin. She didn’t want his friends to see how awful she looked.
“I … it’s nice to meet you.”
The two women came to stand on either side of her bed while the men walked off to stand by the window and whisper.
Amber’s gaze jerked to Cesar’s, but then she relaxed when she saw he was watching her with a gentle smile on his face.
“Hey, my da—I mean, Travis told me you fell down some steps. How are you feeling?” Sienna asked.
“I feel better. Thank you.”
Sienna snorted. “I’ve been beaten before, and they hurt my ribs, so I know how much it fucking hurts.”
“Sienna, language,” Kane said from across the room.
Nia covered her mouth with her hands, and Amber could tell by the mirth in her eyes that she wanted to laugh.
“She gets in trouble a lot,” Nia said.
Sienna scowled at Nia before and quickly glanced at the men over her shoulder before she turned back and whispered, “Maybe if he didn’t have a stick up his ass most of the time…”
Nia broke in quietly. “Or maybe if you didn’t like being punished so much.”
“Bite me,” Sienna said.
Amber went from wanting to laugh to being concerned about Sienna being hurt.
“Does he … is he mean?” Amber asked.
“He can be when I act out.”
“He hurts you?” Amber asked, horrified.
Both women giggled.
“Oh, heavens no. Kane would never hurt me,” Sienna said.
“But you said you were punished.”
“Yeah, but he’d either spank me or buttfuck me to get his point across.”
Amber’s eyes widened. “Did you just say butt—”
Sienna burst out laughing. “You should see your face right now. You look like a tomato.”
Amber snickered and tried to pull the blanket farther up her face.
Nia patted her shoulder. “It’s something the daddies will do for several reasons. The fact that we enjoy getting our asses … you know, is a secret.”
Amber’s mouth fell open. “I never thought that could happen.”
Sienna wiped her eyes from laughing so hard and grinned. “I’m betting you’ll be finding out sooner rather than later.”
