“I-I’m sorry!” She lifted her hand as if it was burned.

“Luna, it’s okay.”

“No. It’s not.”

He rolled on to his side and studied her. Her eyes were sleepy, and she was clearly horrified at what she’d done. She looked cute as hell all mussed like that. Nash didn’t fight the need inside him that had been building since their make-out session. He leaned over and kissed her. He kept it soft, drawing out the kiss.

“We shouldn’t do that.”

“I know,” Nash whispered, his eyes roaming over her face. “Sex complicates things.”

She nodded. One of her hands moved to trace his face. “We have morning breath.”

“I won’t breathe while I kiss you.”

“You have amazing bone structure.”

“Something I’ve always been proud of,” he said, lowering his head again. This time the kiss was harder, pulling out more feeling. Her arms slid around his neck, and he moved her under him. It was soon hot, and heavy and his body was so tense he thought he’d explode.

“Okay, we need to stop.” He kissed her softly.

“I don’t want you to.”

“Luna—”

She placed a hand over his mouth. “I want this, Nash. I know it’s a one-time thing, but I want to do it with you.”

“Is this about you being less uptight?”

“No, it’s about wanting to do it with you.”

She looked sweet, sexy, and vulnerable. She was usually strong and fiery. But not today. Whatever had happened to make her drink that bottle of champagne with his pony and her duck had completely undone her.

“It?” He teased her while in his head he was waging an internal debate about whether he should sleep with this woman or not. He didn’t think either of them would walk away unscathed after.

“Sex.” She leaned up and took his mouth, and Nash was pretty much lost right then.

The feel of her breasts pressed to his chest and the thought of those long legs wrapped around him were his undoing.

He leaned over her, pressing her into his bed, then slid a hand under her shirt, that was actually his shirt, and stroked the smooth skin of her stomach. He traced her ribs, then moved to her breasts. Cupping the satin, he reacquainted himself with her body.

“You’re a beautiful woman, Luna.”

“You remind me of a mountain man.”

“Is that a good thing?”

“Oh yes.” She slid her hands under his shirt and touched him.

Nash shuddered at the feel of her fingers stroking him.

“We have too many clothes on,” He eased the shirt off her and removed his. He then kissed every inch of her chest. She arched up into him, so he lowered a satin cup and exposed her breast. A lovely full breast with a nipple that he ached to taste. This time it wouldn’t be frenzied between them; this time he’d take his time with her. He licked over the upper curve, then the lower curve. She made a little strangled noise in her throat which he liked. He then ran his tongue over the aching tip.

“Yes.” Her little shudder had him so hard, his eyes nearly crossed.

He pulled down the other cup and administered the same attention, and then moved to her stomach. He licked and kissed his way down her body, and then he moved lower.
