Chapter 11

Sophia

I watched him as he taught and felt like I was floating in the clouds barely able to keep my mind focused on the lecture. Damn, he was incredible! His ass looked amazing in the jeans he had on. But that wasn’t to be outdone by his brain, I never stopped being amazed at how funny and smart he was. I wasn’t sure what was drawing me to him more. He was a double threat to my heart and my mind, that was for damned sure. Of course, it didn’t hurt that he seems so sincere and honest. It was a big switch from the men I grew up with. The men I knew solved problems with guns and violence, but Zack solved them with his mind. It was admirable and his being the exact opposite of the men I grew up with was one of his biggest draws.

What I did know was that each time he looked over at me, I’d get butterflies in the pit of my stomach. I seriously doubted my father would approve of him, for more reasons than I cared to count, but I really didn’t give a damn. My entire body trembled each time I thought about our weekend together. It felt so right. It felt like we were meant to be.

Fuck, maybe since I didn’t have much of a childhood and not a typical teenage life it was causing me to act like a lovestruck teenager. Next thing would be me scribbling ‘I love Zack Von’ on my notebook, like an idiot. But if I was hit by this lovesickness then so was he. I took notice of the looks he gave me each time his gaze locked onto mine. I just hoped no one in the class would notice this or we’d be in some serious trouble.

“Well everyone, it looks like our time for the day is over. I’ll be seeing you all tomorrow. I want those assignments passed in by the end of day, into my inbox. Midnight is the cut-off. If they arrive later than midnight they get an automatic zero. That means no later than midnight on the dot. 12:01 am means it’s late and an automatic zero.”

He’s going all alpha teacher on us. I liked it. Mine had been passed into him several days ago but I know most were still working away on it. A lot complained he was too hard on us and that his expectations were too high for an intro course. I wasn’t used to a typical classroom setting so of all of us I should be the one complaining, not those who should be used to a routine of assignments and tests. But then again most hadn’t been sheltered like I had been where books, learning and my aspirations for the future were one of the only things that I had to keep myself entertained.

“Miss Marinotti, could I have a word with you in my office,” he said as I began to shuffle my way down the aisle.

I paused in my step and looked up at him. “Sure.” Reaching the end of the row I made my way to the front of the class.

“This way.” He motioned for me to follow him out of the classroom and down the hallway to his office neither of us speaking a word to anyone. Opening his office, he ushered me inside, closing the door and locking it behind us.

“What did you- ” I squealed as he grabbed me hoisting me up onto his hips, swinging me around and pinning my back against the wall, as his lips crashing down onto mine. My bag fell to the floor as I grabbed onto him.

Wrapping my legs securely around his waist, I held tight to him, the excitement within me surging, indulging in the swell of his lips and the feel of his tongue as it sparred with mine. My skirt inched its way up until it was bunched around my hips, the thin fabric covering my dampening pussy rubbed against the rough jean covering his rapidly thickening dick.

When he tore his lips from mine, I was left panting, my heart thumping wildly against my chest. “That was unexpected Professor Von.” A wicked smile spread across my lips.

“How dare you sit in the front of the class looking like you do,” he growled.

My smile turned to a pout. “You don’t like it? I made sure I looked extra special for you today.” With a short black pencil skirt and a cashmere sweater that dipped low into my ample cleavage, I’d made sure he got a good view of everything as he taught.

“I could barely keep my focus on the lesson plan.”

“I don’t see how that’s my problem,” I responded giggling. I loved the look of hunger in his eyes. If I had time, I’d drop to my knees and give him something to think about over the afternoon, but I had things to do this afternoon.

“It is your problem. Don’t think I didn’t notice. Tease.” His head dipped and he planted a string of featherlight kisses along the side of my neck.

“I can’t stay, I have plans.”

The delicious feeling kisses stopped, and he lifted his head to look up at me. “Plans?”

“Yeah, I’m meeting a friend for lunch.”

He released me, gently placing me back on my feet, a frown creasing his brow. “Who’s the friend?”

“His name is Calvin. He’s a second-year student here. I met him the morning I walked home from your place that first time.”

“So, a date.”

Laughing, I gave him a swat on the shoulder. “Of course not, he’s a friend. He’s really not my type. And he’s not into me anyhow.”

“Is he gay?”

I rolled my eyes at him. “No, but he’s not into me. We’re just friends.”

“He’s single?”

I nodded. “As far as I know.” It was kind of cute seeing the hint of jealousy in him. But it wasn’t a feeling I cared to nurture. If we were going to try to make it work between us, then there couldn’t be games as I was already feeling guilty about the secrets I was keeping. I’d tell him my secrets eventually, I just needed to make sure I could trust him fully with them.

“Then he’s into you.”
