“Come on, Daddy,” she said sweetly. “You know me.”
“Yes, I do know you, Chelsea. And I love you. But you’ve always been willing to do anything and everything to get what you want. The man gave you a fair settlement. Best cut your losses on this one, sugarplum.”
Chelsea hit end, threw down her phone, and grabbed two fistfuls of her hair. Dallas had even turned her father against her. Life was not fair.
On the other hand, there was one person who might take her side. Grinning to herself, she retrieved her phone and punched in some numbers.

Stewart Beaumont sighed. He loved his daughter, but she was better off out of her marriage. Dallas McCray had actually been quite fair with her. The seven-figure settlement had set her up for life. She had plenty of money. So what was the problem?
“Still here, Stew?” Jon Parker, his chief legal officer and an old school chum of Chelsea’s, poked his tousled blond head into the office.
“Just finishing up,” Stewart said. “You?”
“On my way out. Want to grab a drink?”
“Yeah. I could use one. I just got off the phone with Chelsea. She has some weird idea that McCray was cheating on her before the divorce.”
“Really?” Jon’s cell phone started playing Mozart’s sonata. “Excuse me.” He pulled the cell out of his pocket. “Oh, speak of the devil.” He hit send. “Hi, Chels. What’s up?”
Chapter Seven
“This is the life, Cowboy.” Annie took a sip of wine and set her goblet on the edge of Dallas’s sunken hot tub. The luxurious frothy warm water rolled over her body, soothing her aching muscles. Her plump breasts bobbed lightly on the surface.
“I’m glad you like it,” Dallas said, winking. “But what are you doing way over there?” He sat opposite her, his arms stretched out on either side of him. “Why don’t you come sit with me?”
“Mmm. Sounds good, but I can’t move.” Annie closed her eyes and inhaled the pungent eucalyptus oil that Dallas had sprinkled into the bubbling water. “It’s been a really busy week. I didn’t realize how exhausted I was until I stepped into this little bit of heaven on earth.”
Dallas held out his arm. “Come here. I can help you relax.”
“I bet you can.” Annie smiled and took his hand. Within seconds, she was on his lap, straddling him, his hardness pressing into her. “Is that a cucumber in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?”
Dallas chuckled at her bad line. “I’m very glad to see you.” He wriggled under her, parting her and teasing her entrance. “Are you protected?” His sexy voice rasped.
“I’m on the pill,” Annie said, “and it’s been a long time.”
“For me too. Both clean then.”
He nudged his way inside and Annie groaned, the slickness of the water around her folds adding a sensual layer to the feeling of completion as his erection stroked her. “Ah,” she moaned. “So good, Cowboy.”
“You fit me like a glove, Annie. So tight. So sweet.”
They moved together, the warm water sloshing about them as they rode each other. Annie leaned into Dallas’s hard form, sliding against him, her nipples scraping against his damp and springy chest hair. She claimed his mouth, and his groan fueled her passion. Her climax ripped into her suddenly, like a lightning strike out of a clear summer sky. She screamed his name and felt his release.
Every single pulse of it.
Sated, she slumped into him. His lips nipped at her neck and ears. “Wow, Doc.”
“Yeah. Wow.”
“Told you we were explosive.”
“Seems you were right.”
He stood up with her in his arms, the slick water dripping from them.
“What are you doing?”
