Devil squeezed my hand. “I know you’ll help them get the son of a bitch.”
“It feels good to think about getting justice for victims again.”
“I bet. I know something else that would feel good.”
I rolled my eyes. “You’re fucking insatiable.”
“And you love me.”
“Even your arrogance.”
He kissed me softly. “You love everything about me.”
“I really do. Crazy as that might be.”
Devil stepped between my legs and wrapped his arms around me. As I leaned in to kiss him again, I knew whatever the future might bring, we would get through it because we had each other.
