I brushed the tears from his cheeks. “Take a few breaths, baby. It’s going to be okay. I want you to go to my cabin, lie down, and relax for a few minutes. I’ll get us some dinner and bring it over.”

“I don’t want to eat.”

“You don’t have to eat before your spanking, but you will eat later.”

He looked away but nodded. “Okay, Daddy.”

I started to maneuver him out the door, but he turned back to me, fresh tears in his eyes. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean… I know I’m not supposed to call you that when we’re here.”

“You’re having a hard day, and we’re alone.”

“But you are too, and I’m just making it worse.”

“Some days are like that, okay? Go on, and if someone asks you what you’re doing, tell them we’re going over ranch business at my place because the air conditioner is out in the bunkhouse.”

“O-okay.” He looked younger than I’d ever seen him.

A few minutes later, I entered my cabin carrying plates of food for each of us. I left them on the kitchen counter, covered in foil so we could warm them up after I disciplined Riley. I was hungry, but my boy needed me first.

Riley was lying on the couch. He opened his eyes when he heard me. “I’m so sorry, Daddy.”

“You’re forgiven. Now kneel in front of the couch and bare your ass for me. I want you over my lap like the first time.”

“Yes, sir.” He slid to the floor. “I want that too.”

As upset as he was, I had a feeling he needed to be held against me and to feel the intimate contact of my hand smacking his ass. He also needed something different, something to really force him out of his current mindset.

He settled into position, and I stroked his ass, helping him relax. “Riley?”

“Yes, Daddy?”

“I’m going to spank you twenty times, then you’re going to tell me twenty things you know about this ranch. Do you understand?”

“Yes, Daddy.”

I leaned down and kissed the back of his neck. “That’s my good boy.”

Before he had a chance to worry that he wouldn’t be able to do as I asked, I brought my hand down hard against his ass.

He jumped and cried out. “That—”

I brought my hand down again. I didn’t want him thinking in between each blow. “You’re doing so good, baby.”

Another smack.

“Yes, that’s it, baby.”

I kept up a steady rhythm. The tension in his body increased, and I knew he was fighting not to pull away or struggle. I gave him ten hard slaps on one cheek and ten on the other. By the time I was done, he was panting.

“All right, boy. Now tell me what you know about this ranch. I’ll count off for you.”

“Our calves are born in the fall.”

“Good. That’s one.”

“We let the bulls in with the cows for thirty days.”

“Two. You’re doing great, baby.” I used the tips of my fingers to tease the handprints on his ass.

“Rollo is the best horse for working cattle.”

“That’s three. Keep going.”

He did. He slowed down when he got about halfway, but with me encouraging him, he managed to tell me twenty things he knew. When he was finished, his breathing had slowed, and he seemed a lot calmer.

“You did it, Riley. Even after a bad day and with your ass hot and stinging, you were able to tell me twenty important things about the ranch.”

“But they were all jumbled up, just random stuff.”

“That doesn’t matter. You know them, and the more you remind yourself what you know, the better you’ll be able to explain it all to someone else.”

“Thank you, Daddy.”

“Do you need more?” I squeezed his cheeks, and he sucked in his breath.

“No, sir. I think I’m okay now.”

“You’ve learned so much, and I’m so proud of you.”

He wiped his eyes, and I bent and kissed his reddened ass. “What do you need now, Riley?”

“I’m not sure.”

I picked him up and carried him to the bed. Once I had him settled, I pulled his pants all the way off, stretched out between his legs, and sucked his cock until he spilled down my throat. Then I crawled up his body, straddled his shoulders, and he did the same thing to me.

When he’d licked every last drop of cum from me and I’d stretched out beside him, he looked at me with darkened sex-drunk eyes. “Please don’t send me home yet. I need more time to be with you. Just being around you settles me.”

“Don’t worry. I’m not ready for you to leave, and I told you I’d make sure you eat. Let’s get cleaned up, and you can find us something to watch while I heat up our dinner.”

“Okay, I can do that.”

When I joined him on the couch, I saw that he’d queued up Thor: Ragnarok. “Did you remember it’s my favorite?”
