Laughing, Hollis pulled him close again and tucked him between his spread legs as he leaned back against the counter. “I’m not opposed to marriage.”

“Some gay couples don’t feel it’s necessary. So, I didn’t mean to assume.”

“Ian, I may have only known you a short time, but I can tell you are the type to love the idea of marriage. You probably love weddings, too.”

“I do.”

“I’ve never been into them—kind of loathe going to them actually.” He rubbed Ian’s back. “But I have a feeling I’m going to change my mind. I have a feeling a lot of things are going to change for me.” He lowered his voice, the husky tone sending shivers down Ian’s spine. “And I’m happy about it,” he finished.

Ian stood on his toes. Hollis was slouched against the counter, so he didn’t have to go far up. “Hope so because I plan to be very, very involved in creating Lucas and Andrei’s wedding. Even if I have to fight Andrei’s mother over it. If you’re still with me—”

“No if.” The growl that rumbled from Hollis’s throat caused Ian’s eyes to widen.

“Then you’ll hear an awful lot about things like flowers and venues and food. You’ll probably be taste testing the different cakes I plan to perfect.”

“I have absolutely no problem there.”

“We’re talking like we plan to really make a go of this.”

“There’s still doubt?” He placed his hands on Ian’s slender hips and pulled their groins close, then slid around to cup Ian’s ass so he could grind them together.

Desire coursed through him so hard, so fast, he felt suddenly dizzy and still he wanted more. Ian fisted his shirt and stood on his toes to bite his lower lip. He sucked on it, then pulled back.

“We need a bed,” Ian gasped.

Hollis couldn’t agree more. “Wrap your legs around my waist,” he commanded as he lifted Ian up, already carrying him toward the stairs.

He didn’t care if he came off as some kind of behemoth hauling Ian around once again. He liked it. Liked his slighter body against him, the way he wrapped his legs around his waist. He fucking loved how he could hold Ian’s ass cheeks entirely in his hands. Squeezing his fingers made Ian groan and rock his hips against Hollis’s stomach.

Clothes. Clothes were in the way.

Hurrying, he kicked open the door, the slam of it against the wall loud. Laughing, he quickly shut the door, balancing Ian against the wall next to it. With so many of his loving “brothers” around, they didn’t need an audience for what he was about to do to this beautiful man.

Ian moaned when their bodies slammed together against the wall and he threaded the fingers of one hand into Hollis’s hair to hold his head even closer. The man could kiss, those soft, plump lips stealing his ability to think…to breathe.

One kiss followed another and Hollis was sure he’d never tire of Ian’s taste. The kisses ran from soft to down and dirty raunchy where he seemed determined to learn every corner of Hollis’s mouth.

Fuck, he loved it.

He put his hands back on Ian’s ass and ground Ian’s hips into his stomach again. If they’d been naked, he would have been able to slip his cock right into Ian then. Press into him, shove him higher and higher against the wall. That thought weakened his knees. He backed up until he felt the bed behind him and sat.

Ian in his lap was turning out to be his favorite thing.

Those slow undulations of his hips started up as he ground his dick against Hollis’s. “I want you. Want you so damn much.”

“You’re gonna kill me,” Hollis said on a groan. Ian was the sexiest, the most sensual creature he’d ever met.

Ian twisted his body in a graceful, long move, reaching toward the small table beside the pull-out couch bed. He came back with condoms and lube. “Wanna fuck me again?”

Hollis’s hands ran up his back to pull him close. “Ian, I will do anything you want at this point. I will run screaming and naked through the penthouse if you want. I’ll stand on my head and spit quarters. I’m pathetically easy where you’re concerned.”

“Good to know. Oh, the power you just handed over to me.”

“Should I be worried?” Hollis lifted an eyebrow.

“Most definitely.” Chuckling, Ian pushed Hollis back down onto the bed. “I want on top this time.”

All Hollis did was moan and shut his eyes.

Ian climbed off him and stood by the bed to remove his clothes. Hollis sat up, his hands going to the bottom of his sweater. “No, I want to undress you, too.”

“Feeling bossy?”###

He thought about explaining, about telling Hollis how all the memories, the crawling during his sleep—all of it—how it had made him feel so out of control, he felt like he was flailing on the edge of a cliff. That it made him feel weak and kind of pathetic. But he didn’t want the cop to be thinking about any of that. He wanted his focus on him, on the sex they were about to have. He slowly lowered his hand to the snap of his jeans, gratified when blue eyes instantly lowered and locked on. He took his time removing his clothes, turning more than he needed to in order to toss them in the corner. The growl and hands on his ass made him grin.
