Justin Travers is having a rough year. His company is in trouble, forcing him to lay off the majority of his staff just to keep things afloat. When he meets Brooke Alexander, she gives him a much-needed wake-up call. Not only is his company in danger of extinction, but his own reputation also needs some work.

Brooke barely survives the mass layoffs for one reason: she's the lowest-paid member of the marketing team. But she sees the opportunity to help Justin improve his reputation and, as a result, help his company return to the good days.

As they work together to rebuild things, Brooke and Justin feel an attraction they can't fight. When Justin's reputation suffers yet another blow, their budding relationship faces a challenge they may not be able to overcome.
