Sometimes, beauty covers a whole lot of ugly.
That was one of the many valuable lessons I learned the summer I lived in Creswell Springs with the Angel’s Halo MC.
They taught me about responsibility and respect—not just for others, but, more importantly, for myself.
I liked to think I came home a better person. Someone who wasn’t just pretty on the outside anymore.
And then I met Zak.
Golden eyes. Chiseled jaw. That deep, gravelly voice mixed with a slight Russian accent that did something to me no man ever had before.
The way he looked at me, I didn’t just feel beautiful—I felt powerful.
Before I knew it, I’d fallen for him.
My heart was in his hands.
But did he want to cherish it…or crush it?
