Nash is learning that trying to unite a disorganized and volatile pack of shifters isn't as easy as it looks. In fact, it seems downright impossible. He wants to spend all of his free time with his new bride, but every time he gets Red alone, someone needs his help.
It's almost as if someone is distracting him on purpose...
Red is having a tough time fitting in with The Silent Canines. The group of shifters might have accepted Nash as their Alpha, but Red? She's human. Why should they make her feel at home? With her mating ceremony to Nash looming in the future, Red can't help but wonder if he'd be better off without her. The pack certainly thinks so. Then something happens that changes everything and the future they've been working so hard to build could be crushed. Will Red and Nash be able to make it through the dark together? Author's Note: This story is the second in the Red series and should be read after Red: Into the Dark.
