“Relax. I’ll have them taken care of.”
“Oh, my God! You didn’t!” She turns around and throws her arms and legs around me. Carrying her through our home, I don’t plan on stopping until we’re in our bedroom. Two main arrangements grace the entryway, and I snatch up a cream-colored rose from one.
Laying her on the bed, I slowly peel away both of our clothes. I rest the rose next to her naked body. Sprawled over her, I lean in and taste her lips. “Let’s celebrate.”
“What are we celebrating?”
“Us.” I capture her mouth in a kiss, stopping her from replying. I don’t want any objections, any denials. She’s mine, and I’ll never give her up. I pull back, taking the rose in hand while I kneel between her legs. Lazily, I rub the smooth, creamy petals against her lips, her jaw, and down to her racing pulse. Following the movement with my own kiss. The fragile petals glide over her taut nipples, causing her to arch up into my hands.
“I need you, Nick.” The longing is almost as strong as mine. I need her like I need my next breath. She’s everything that’s special.
“Yes, you do, but for how long?” I ask, rubbing the rose against her soaking wet pussy.
“Forever,” she moans out, reaching up to run her fingers through my hair and down my back.
“Great answer.” I toss the rose, and sink into her depths, stretching her tight heat, slowing down until we both can adjust to the newness and my size.
“I’m never letting you go.”
“I’m not going anywhere.” We make love all afternoon until we pass out from exhaustion. Cradling her in my arms as we sleep, I feel a sense of peace come over me, and dreams kick in.
Epilogue
Nick
A year. I’ve been with my wife for a whole year, but it doesn’t feel like it at all. I stop into Brie’s Café and look around for the woman who stole my heart and my sanity. I don’t think I’ll ever get them back, but she’s so worth it.
After the fire department reviewed the video, it was clear that Beth had started the fire. I can’t believe that she would rather go to jail instead of finding another man to try to ensnare. Having fallen for Lia, I suddenly crushed all her hopes and dreams of us together. Never once did I give her that impression, but I was informed that Beth had once been hospitalized for the same obsessive destructive behavior when she was a teen. The only reason we didn’t learn of it until the plea bargain negotiations was that her records were sealed.
With the café rebuilt, Brie is happier, especially now that Lia works alongside her. I no longer own the café, and it’s flourishing. Lia still attends school because she wants a degree in Business Administration after being Brie’s office manager.
I walk inside, wanting to see my wife. She’s supposed to be working in the back, but when a customer moves, I see her at the register looking absolutely stunning in the matching tight tees that every employee has to wear. A low growl erupts from my chest. Moving quickly around to the back of the counter, I get her attention. Her lips part, knowing she’s been caught.
Coming up directly behind her, I press my cock against her ass and lean in to whisper, “Why are you on your feet, my dear wife?”
“Brie needed help.”
“You’re lucky it was my sister who asked.” I reach around, encircling her belly. She’s two months pregnant with our first child. It took ten months for me to finally knock her up. We never used any protection, but she wasn’t getting pregnant. For a while, I thought we couldn’t have kids, but just when we were going to give up, she told me I’d done my job.
“I know. I’m fine.”
“That you are, and you married a very jealous man.”
“How can I help you?” she asks the next customer.
“Get out of here,” Brie swats my shoulder. “I can’t have you scaring my customers.”
I grumble my distaste. “Two minutes, Lia.”
“Yes, my love,” she says, rolling her eyes in the process. Ignoring her sass, I walk into the backroom. Oscar comes out of the cooler with a case of cream. “Hey, Nick.”
“How’s it going, Oscar?” He’s filled out in the last year. His shoulders are broader, and he looks more manly. A hint of territoriality hits me as I think about Oscar working with my beautiful young wife.
He sets the case down on the counter. “Great. I graduate this semester. My uncle is going to set me up with a job at his company as soon as I finish.”
“Congrats.” That gives me a sense of relief.
“Thanks. I’m going to miss working here, but it’s for the best.” We shake hands, and then he picks up the cream and heads out to the front.
