Dazedly, I walked to the revolving doors.
The beautiful, dangerous man lived in my building, and something told me I would run into him again.
I shook my head, trying to get back into rhythm when I suddenly found myself staring at familiar hazel eyes.
Mine widened in surprise.
“Angelica?”
I had seen my ex-roommate around campus a handful of times since I decided to move out of that apartment two years ago, but to see her here, of all places, was… unexpected.
She blinked at me before turning to the man she was with, ignoring me.
I frowned and took in the man, who looked a good thirty years older than the both of us, with salt and pepper hair, brown eyes that gave me the creeps when he looked at me, and a greasy smile.
There was something unnerving about him, and I watched as Angelica led the man toward the elevator bay, wrapped her arms around his neck, and gave him a kiss that made me blush.
Alrighty then.
I shook my head and walked out of the building, going to one of the hundred restaurants around to order some food to take home.
I was utterly drained, and I didn’t have the desire to spend any more time outside with other people.
I just wanted to hurry up to eat and crawl into bed.
And it wasn’t until much later that I found beautiful brown eyes haunting me in my dreams.
I woke up sweaty and horny andwet.

Micah had calledme stupid and obsessive when he found out I was moving into a luxurious apartment building with a fucking lobby and people working in the front, no less.
It wasn’t in our bones to want the finer things in life.
The Stone men were simple creatures, and I would have stayed in my run-down apartment for years if she hadn’t moved in here.
Micah didn’t know Ryleigh had moved into this very same building. Perhaps he thought I was moving here because she was close by, but he didn’t fucking know just how close.
He knew I had asked Kai to point her out to me. And I told my brothers from the club that the Judge’s daughter was mine to deal with… they just didn’t know how I planned on dealing with her.
And I wasn’t going to tell any of them, but especially not Micah.
Not yet.
It wasn’t like I was planning on keeping it a secret. Not for long. It wouldn’t take much for him to figure out why I was here and who was living right next door to me.
Perhaps he was right when he called me stupid and obsessive, but I couldn’t find it in me to regret it.
I had spent so long watching her that I now had her routine down pat.
The fact that I had been able to sneak cameras inside her apartment helped some.
I pulled up the app and watched as she got ready for bed.
It was ten o’clock, and I knew what she would do.
