“There’s nothing wrong with that,” Zoe said. “Everyone deals with things differently.”
Ella nodded. She had hoped Teddy’s attack wouldn’t scar her, and so far, it looked like he hadn’t done as much damage to her as she thought. She looked around. “Where’s Amelia?”
The other women laughed and then laughed harder when Amelia rushed through the door, trying to straighten her hair and clothing while scowling over her shoulder.
Ella tapped Lindsey’s shoulder. “What’s going on?”
Lindsey laughed. “Fury caught her and took her upstairs for anap.”
Ella snickered when Lindsey made the quotation marks with her fingers when she said nap.
Just then, Fury walked through the door and headed straight for Amelia.
“Did I tell you that you could leave our room and what was that scowl you gave me? Are you supposed to disrespect your man like that?”
Fury lifted Amelia off the floor and over his shoulder. “I think someone needs a punishment.”
Ella stiffened until she saw the look in the girl’s eyes.
“Dammit, Fury,” Amelia screamed and then smacked his ass.
Ella’s mouth dropped open. She couldn’t believe that sweet-looking woman could act this saucy.
“I have to help,” Amelia said.
“The girls can take care of it,” Fury said as he walked out of the kitchen.
Ella heard them arguing all the way up the stairs.
“When your man wants you, there’s very little you can do about it except enjoy it.” Tara grinned.
Ella stared at the door that Fury had just carried Amelia through. She could see herself living like this for a long time and couldn’t think of any other place she’d rather be.
Chapter Fourteen
Ax watched the last woman enter the hotel suite where they were stationed. The men had clothing and food for them. They would give them a few days to relax and work on their futures. The men were furious at the abuse that was evident on the women.
Rachel wanted to call her mother, so they lent her a phone. They heard her crying in one of the bedrooms, but when she came out, she had a smile on her face.
Once the girls were taken care of, Pokey flew a drone over the house and caught six heat signatures in the dwelling. Traeger and Dre had found a hole in the basement window and slid a tube into it from behind some shrubs several feet away where they hid. They started pumping gas into it, and within a few minutes, they heard things dropping and knew all the men were out.
Fury sent several guys in to tie them up and transport them to the shed on the compound. It went surprisingly well, but then Fury always had backup plans if needed.
Lindsey and Zoe were waiting for the women at the hotel. They stayed with them until they were settled in for the night. They were keeping a few guys outside the door for protection. Zoe and Savage would be in the suite, but they’d crash on the sofa and a bed that was brought up.
Ax walked into the clubhouse to see Ella pacing back and forth.
“Hey,” he said and grabbed her to stay still. “Didn’t they tell you about the women?”
“Yes. But I want to see them,” Ella said.
“You will tomorrow. They also are eager to see you. Right now, they’re sleeping in nice beds after eating whatever they wanted.”
“What about the bastards?”
“We got all six of them.”
“Where are they?”
