“Yes, you will wash your mate.”
“Yes, Daddy.” I smile, tugging his hand as I hop off the bed. “I’ll make sure you’re squeaky clean.”
“Good girl. My love.” He stands, his face softens as he rubs my hair. “You know…if there was a potion from the healer that would bring those orcs back that hurt you, I would give it to them.”
“What? You’d want them alive?” I crease my forehead, squint my eye, unsure what he means.
“Yes, I would bring them back, kill them again. Then bring them back and kill them again.”
“You say the sweetest things.” I push up on my tiptoes as he bends down, kissing his lips, his tusks pressing against my face.
“Now, let’s get in the bath. You need to take your anti-seasickness medicine before we go. Nothing like watching you puke over the edge of the boat for two hours.”
Oran groans, sweeping his hand around my waist and carrying me to the bathtub.
“It is good thing I love you, Drozna.”
“Love you too, Daddy. Forever and always.”
“Forever and always.” He growls and I feel the baby kick.
Life is good.
