Voodoo walked over and removed the cell phone. She looked at the contacts and showed Ivy and Falcon.

“You saved his number under el jefe. Not very original. Anyway, I’m going to put the call on speaker.” Ivy nodded to Falcon, who put the muzzle of his weapon to the second man’s head, while Aria followed suit with the other man.

“What do you want?” El Jefe asked.

“Boss, we are with some people who want to talk to you.”

“Who?”

“We’re with ALIAS. Have you heard of us?”

The men looked at each other, realizing that the threats were real.

“Yes. We aren’t sex traffickers. So what do you want?”

“Like we were telling your men, we have a common threat that we’d like to eliminate. The ATF agent, Rosemary Evans.”

“It’s done already.”

“I have it on good authority that their attempt failed.”

“How do you know that?”

“Because it was our man who thwarted the plan. We weren’t aware you were gunning for her as well. Which is why we’re talking now.”

“Let me check with my men.”

Ivy and the others listened while the boss ordered someone to get an update. When El Jefe returned to the call, he told them they hadn’t reached their men yet.

“So let’s settle this before she gets away. She has a tendency to run, always one step ahead of us.”

The line was quiet before the boss agreed to meet.

“You come here,” he demanded.

“Sounds good. Your men will stay here until we’ve reached a mutually satisfactory deal.”

“Antone, how many are there?” the boss asked his number one man.

“Four. Three females and one man.”

“Good, here’s where you need to come.”

After receiving the information, they contacted Byte for schematics.

“We’re set,” Voodoo said after she confirmed the floor plans were received.

Nodding, Ivy gave the go-ahead signal and continued to walk out of the warehouse, leaving behind two very dead gang members.

“Two down and sixteen to go,” Aria said as she stripped off her blazer and left it and her shirt in the waste bin, leaving her in a tank top. “I really liked that shirt.”

“Does the job come with a clothing allowance? I have a feeling I’m going to need to invest in a lot of shirts,” Falcon said as he too threw his bloody garments into the bin.

Voodoo tossed them the duffel bag containing their new clothes and chuckled before saying, “I wish. We should bring that up at the next staff meeting.”

“You do that,” Ivy replied and laughed.

Forty-five minutes later, Ivy called Ghost and said the first part of their job was finished.
